Just curious here. Are some of you suggesting that A&T would not have won that game, if the 6-6 forward had played?

Can we just dream or make suggestions without all the debbie downers sometimes? I get it, you don't like the move. Corbett was packed to the brim at every game when you were at A&T. Well, it wasn't when I was there. It was the usual suspects that brought out a packed house. So any way to liven up the atmosphere is a good thing. Hopefully they can keep up with the promotions and keep the place at least 2/3 of what it was last night. Jan 7th will be a real test because that's at 2pm on Saturday, but at least the opponent has UNC in front of the name. I feel like it's way more pleasing to whip UNCG, UNCW, and Elon in basketball more than whipping Del, Coppin or Maryland Easter Shore. I feel those 3 are upgrades as opponents and not just from a basketball skillset, but attendance as well. dude, you're all over the place! talkin' bout stuff that i didn't even bring up. bottom line is, don't try to "insinuate" that we will always draw big crowds against against those unheard of pwc's like stoney brook and hostra akin to the turnout we draw for uncg. that's just "comical"... The fact that you got THAT out of what I said is what's actually comical. Not once did I say anything remotely close to that. Just read it again cause it aint worth re-explaining. Hofstra and Stoney??? Yep, I totally typed those schools names(sarcasm)

You telling me what you think I'm insinuating. I'm telling you what I said. "I said UNCW, UNCG, and ELON are better opponents than Del, Coppin or Maryland Easter Shore. I think attendance would probably also be better if you compare those schools." No where in that does the name Hofstra or any other PWI come up. So how am I playing dumb? I'm saying what I ACTUALLY ALREADY said. No games or hidden message. No insinuating anything. I said what I said.

"schools like" stoney brook and hostra refers to "schools like" stoney brook and hostra. i never accused you of referring to stoney brook or hostra. you just trying to be argumentative now. go back to your post that i first quoted under this thread cuz you're still "all over the place"...

Nope, you go back to the post. I said what I said. You are the one turning it into something I completely did not say or "insinuate". My words are my words. Don't twist them because my point was opposite of yours and valid.

Hey, UNCG beat Elon on the road, a couple of days after losing to us. So there's that. --------------------- ELON, N.C. - Mikeal Brown-Jones scored a career-high 20 points on 9-of-14 shooting as the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's basketball team earned a Saturday afternoon victory over Elon, 65-61. The victory over the Phoenix marks the fourth consecutive victory over Elon, dating back to the 2017-18 season. HOW IT HAPPENED Both sides traded the lead five times in the first five minutes of the first half with the Spartans holding a one-point lead, 7-6, five minutes into the contest. The layup at the 15:13 mark from Kobe Langley sparked a 13-0 run that lasted the next 4:07 as the Spartans exploded for a 12-point lead, 18-6. UNCG's lead briefly dipped to eight with 9:40 remaining in the first half, but the Spartans reclaimed a ten-point lead 20 seconds later thanks to a layup from Brown-Jones. The Spartans reclaimed a double-digit lead at the 3:24 mark after briefly ceding the double-digit advantage as Jalen Breath collected his own rebound and made the putback layup. Elon responded with an 8-2 run over the next 2:04 to shrink the Spartans lead to five, 28-23. UNCG posted a 5-0 run to close the final 1:06 thanks to a three-point field goal from Keyshaun Langley and a layup from Joryam Saizonou that sent the Spartans into halftime with a 33-23 edge. Both sides traded field goals for the first 4:30 of the second half until the Phoenix scored back-to-back field goals 48 seconds apart to cut the Spartans' lead to five, 37-32. Elon cut the lead down to four, 41-37, with 12:29 left in the second half. Brown-Jones posted five-straight points in response to boost the UNCG lead, 49-40, with 10:44 remaining. A Mohammed Abdulsalam layup at the 8:58 mark capped a 7-0 run to bring the Spartans' lead back to 11. Elon posted a 9-0 run in response beginning at the 8:28 mark and lasting the next 2:58 of the period, shrinking the UNCG lead down to two, 51-49. Saizonou broke the run with a three-point field goal with 5:30 remaining to reclaim a five-point edge. Dante Treacy expanded the lead to six, 57-51, with 4:28 remaining with a fast break layup. Elon cut the lead down to one possession when Elon made one of two free throws to cut the lead down to one, 59-58, with 1:02 remaining. With 35 seconds remaining, Keyshaun Langley made a three-pointer to bring the lead back to four. UNCG made free throws in the final seconds to support the lead and earn the win. uncgspartans.com/news/2022/12/3/mens-basketball-mens-basketball-outlasts-elon-65-61.aspx
