Don't cry over spilled milk. He jetted on us. Why worry what he do. He ain't no Aggie no mo. Yeah I don’t understand the idea behind keeping track of guys that don’t play here i don't think "resentment" is the proper posture relative to former aggie athletes who transfer to other schools. none of us like to see star athletes transfer away from a&t, but that's the nature of today's college athletics. please don't forget, we "benefit" from the transfer portal as much or even more than we don't benefit from it when our players transfer. meaning, we "gain" transfers from other schools more than what we lose to the portal. so no need to ignore or resent former aggie players who transfer to other schools. i don't like it when former aggie athletes transfer (though there are some who i don't miss). but who are we to decide what's best for individual athletes? so i wish them well, "sincerely". shoot, i watched tuten rip the miami hurricanes to pieces on tv wishing he was still an aggie. but i was still happy for him and "proud" that he once wore an aggie uniform. and we still get "publicity" from tuten cuz everytime i watch him play on tv, the play-by-play announcer "always" mentions that he's a "transfer from nc a&t"...

Man he booked up on us. Later! To be fair, A&T fired the Coach that recruited him. Did not let him play his game or “knock off the rust” after a 2 year sit down because of Injury. As well as not hiring a coach until months after the season ended in April. He has said multiple times he wanted to and gave A&T every opportunity to accommodate him as well as Kam Woods staying , however, A&T was too far behind to better him as a basketball player. I dont believe this should be the mindset for all transfers, the same way NBA teams welcome players as part of the organization who were traded, why would we not welcome a player who committed to A&T & sticking it out as long as he could?

He still jetted. That guy nut that helped blow up the twin towers is an Aggie. Your comparing Duncan Powell to a 9/11 bomber…? Lets put it in perspective, You take a chance on a job opportunity because of the trust in your Manager, out of the blue they fire the manager & give you unworkable working conditions with no pay. You speak to the CEO about staying and fixing issues within the company & nothing changes. There are “Proud Aggies” that transferred that didnt play any sports but they get welcoming energy. You have a kid who took a chance on A&T brought more recognition to the school than it would have if he did not come & stuck it out as long as it logically made sense & your only response is “He jetted on us”. You sir are the problem with our culture. You have a player that was mistreated & thats all you can say.

Once an Aggie , always an Aggie… Given his circumstances plus the Transfer Portal World that we are now in, I'm not holding a grudge, either.

I think his first year at T he was injured and did not play but he was well taken care of. He kept his scholarship and was given the opportunity to get an education. He wanted more money for his talents that were ok at best. His talent was and will not get him in the NBA so he might as well stayed at A&T. He was not mistreated here except that the so called basketball coach did not know how to use him on the court. NIL has ruined a lot of kids with false hope and promises. Sometimes loyalty is better than a few duckies.

I am mad at Tuten also for jetting up on A&T who was supposedly the only school to offer him a football scholarship.
Loyalty don't count no mo. They want to count money instead.

Truthfully Powell was pampered and given why more opportunities then any of the other players. Now Harry was mistreated . Truthfully a lot thought that Powell was the savior until finding out he was just another player with average skills and a bad haircut . He had bad coaches yes ( the one that recruited him and fired being one of them) but no way was Powell mistreated at A&T . I saw Powell play in HS and stated that Powell was not all that and to not believe the hype . Mistreated get real 😆

Duncan is the real deal, he was working through injury most of his career here. He's been super solid for us when he's touched the floor. I wish him well. The Greek Freak keeps me from missing him lol. Moving on..... The bball coaches have to earn their checks this season. We're loaded with talent on both teams.
