The young man has heart and a great sense of history. Obviously, pray he achieves everything he wants.

Good stuff! The Dallas Morning News isn't your small town fish wrapper.

his cousin, former aggie basketball player adrian powell, was one of my all time “favorite” aggie basketball players. why? because i remember seeing his highlight videos before he joined our team and at the time, i recall saying he’d only be a “role player” at best for our team. i wasn’t impressed at all.
but one of his supporters told me at that time that i’d “eat my words” but i didn’t believe him. in andrian’s first year playing for us, i was right. he was a “role player” at best. but the following year? i swear, my mouth dropped to the floor when i saw him play! omg, he put in the work over the summer and became our “best” player on the team at “both ends” of the court!
there’s no better feeling than to be proven wrong by an aggie recruit that i under estimated! i luv “defense” which is one of the main reasons andrian powell became one of my all time favorite aggies, powell became a “lockdown” defender for us as well as one of our leading scorers.
he played on our 2013 team that won the meac tournament championship and beat “liberty” in the first 4 play-in games. accordingly, his cousin duncan powell supposedly is a higher profile player than adrian was. if he plays anything like his cousin did, then we got ourselves a straight up “jewel”...

What are the Duncan’s main characteristics? Does he have dribble, shoot and speed to play outside?
If he could play SF with continuity and Filmore & Harry really improve, could be a frontline rotation with Watson- Filmore- Harry- Whatley and Powell/Horton SF?

Duncan is going to be a baller that can score in the post, playing above the rim, and from the outside. He can also dribble has the lateral quickness to stay with smaller guards. youtu.be/eAFIsr0BslQ

WOW, I would have never imagined this possibility. Get that cheddar! I do wonder what the Ts & Cs are though.
