What's that about? He's digging his own grave. You never bad mouth your prior stop particularly while you're still there and won an Aggie ESPY. Sac State antennas may go up.
On the other hand , how did A&T "do you wrong"? There may be legitimate things to fix or is he referring to the handling of Jones in anyway since he referenced "the past 365"? Who knows? (But he will certainly tell somebody. LOL)

The “recognition” part is funny but also not surprising that he thinks that way.

What did he say ? It's not coming up. Can you repost. I just went to his Twitter and there's nothing there, so I can only guess that he must've taken it down.
Nevertheless, both parties need to move on. We've gotten a new coach and staff and are trying to rebuild a program. He's decided to become a West Coast guy and I wish him well until we meet in the NCAA Tournament. It doesn't need to get messy.
That's just my take.

What did he say ? It's not coming up. Can you repost. People are giving him a hard time on social media for leaving. In response, he said A&T "did him wrong" after all the sacrifice he made and all the recognition HE brought to the school.

Now that right there is funny 😄 He sounds like a Gold Digger that signed a prenup but forgot about it before the divorce 😆🤣

Man, why keep talking about this dude. He was ok and improving but he ain't No P5 basketball player.
He ain't gone do no better on the West Coast. He thinks he is better than he is. We have had numerous players here that were better than him.
Let him go!! Sounds as though some are mad because he is leaving and that is going to his head like he was a big time player.
Him and the rest who left to enter the Portal are nothing more than above average DII basketball players.
We ain't gone miss them.

Big question. Can we bring in more talented players than the ones we lost? I think in the guards positions definitely yes. The forwards positions yes . The center position for me is a question mark ❓ in my opinion because Harry and the other big man that sat out do to injuries , have not been heard from or addressed by this board. Harry's graduating with 2 years of eligibility and I think the other kid has 3 . I hope someone asks Ross the 411 on those two players. Not 100% sure but Harry graduated and is gone maybe Ross can talk him into playing and going to grad school. The other big (transfer from ASU) he is there sitting on the bench every game. It was said all along he would miss the entire year

Him and the rest who left to enter the Portal are nothing more than above average DII basketball players. We ain't gone miss them. This right here is why the portal will be a bottomless pit for some of these guys. He is a good player...is he a program maker...no. Hell, I can see if you are an exceptional talent and can leave a school like NCA&T and go to a P5 school. That's not the case for the vast majority of the kids in the portal. Most are lucky to get an offer, even if its in a lower division. I get it that some "relationships" don't work out, but this school shopping for all the wrong reasons won't be good for the players in the end. Man I remember my first semester at NCA&T after I transferred from UNCC...I got a room assignment in Scott Hall (Scott C)...waited in long a$$ lines for everything like registering for classes, buying books, and food...my first impression after a week was this sucks, maybe I made a mistake. Instead of trying to transfer again, I learned my way around...found out how to get the things I wanted and needed, got an apartment off campus...and had a life altering experience that I value to this very day. I wish the young man the best, but if he thinks anyone will remember him by the start of the next season he is wrong. The world will humble you in time, and once his basketball talent no longer holds the value is does now he will see first hand.

lol, maybe he's upset cuz some folk don't want him to have access to corbett before he leaves. man, pub-leeeze. dude is every bit legitimate d1 player who "arguably" was the best player on our roster during the 2nd half of last season.
i don't get "full grown" adult alums who feel its necessary to bash this young man just because he's transferring. its so "childish"! i "suspect" that he's lashing out at aggie alums and/or undergrads who are criticizing him on social media for leaving. well, dude still is not "legally" an adult yet and i "suspect" that his way of retaliating on social media is to say what he said, which is also "childish".
both sides of this dispute should be thanking "each other" for the time and support provided to "each other", instead of carrying on this "childish" war of social media words. it shows a "lack of class" for a&t or any of its alums/undergrads to publicly criticize powell and it also shows a "lack of class" for powell to publicly criticize a&t. however, powell has a legit excuse, he's still a "kid" but our alums aren't. alums should know better and in due time as powell becomes a "man", he too will know better as he matures.
publicly criticizing powell ain't gone bring him back, quite the contrary. so what's the use? why even bother? like i previously stated, our best posture is to wish him well and move on, and powell should do the same...

I'm just shakin' my head at him moving down in conference ranking and Sac St being the place. #SmhAgain #WishICouldHaveTalkedToHim

I ain't questioning his decision. He can go wherever he wants. I am questioning why so many people keep talking about him leaving because he ain't know Earl Monroe. Bob Dandridge or Mike Gayle. ( Telling my age).
He ain't no legit DI P5 player because if he was he wouldn't be going to the school he chose.
The other guys who left us are not Legit DI P5 players either.
They are leaving program after programs because they are not P5 players and the new Portal rules allow them to roam and search for other opportunities which ain't always good for them.
