yeah, its one thing to be an nfl "celebrity" who can attract recruits. quite another to step on the football field without any head coaching experience and "out coach" non-nfl "celebrity" coaches. primetime is proving that...

How do you guys feel about all of the attention they get? can't be mad about that, primetime is gonna attract the media wherever he goes and that's what's happening at jsu. so i ain't mad at 'em, take advantage of it while they can. but primetime's celebrity is putting "added pressure" on his players because they're gonna get everybody's best shot because of primetime and i don't think his current players are "mentally" equipped to deal with that. over recent years, our guys have learned to deal with the "added pressure" that we get but our "added pressure" comes from winning championships, not from our coach being a "celebrity"...

Coach Washington is by no means a celebrity. He doesn’t even have a social media account. Night and Day

Coach Washington is by no means a celebrity. He doesn’t even have a social media account. Night and Day Maybe TSU wanted to get away from the HBCU coaching carousel that so many HBCUS get locked into in Football and Basketball. I'm happy that they have found a coach /celebrity or whatever that is willing to try and turn their program around. For me it's going to be a interesting season .

To prime times defense he did say they better get Jackson State in the spring season as his recruiting class hits in the fall. But I agree he was not gone take and existing team and come in and make them SWAC champs without and infusion of talent

So, they fired Rod Reed and hired Eddie George the same day? Damn, I don't think I've ever seen that before.
