got my first pfizer shot this morning, arm is a little sore but very tolerable. otherwise, no other side effects. i go back for the final dose in 3 weeks. glad to have finally got the process started. got my shot right down the street from my house at the fitness center where i normally workout and where the meac holds its indoor track championships, that was really "convenient"...

Fully vaxed with Pfizer. Not sure if it's related but I normally have terrible allergies all through the spring. I haven't had any sinus issues at all since taking the first dose.

Two weeks after my second shot (Maderna) and feel great and relieved. Second shot gave me the chills and a light fever but fine a day after. My 90 year old mom, a 1953 Aggie grad got the Pfizer regimen at Howard University and did not miss a beat!

I received my second Moderna shot today. I kept fighting on the CVS website for a closer and quicker date. I went online at 8am Monday and saved myself a six hour round trip to Cumberland, MD.

Fully vaxed with Pfizer as of this morning ending the two week incubation period after receiving the second dose back on April 1. Was a little achy, fatigued with some chills that evening (was warned at the time of the second shot that might be the case) after the second dose but it went away the next day as quickly as it came on.
No bigee!

they're saying the covid vaccination supply will soon outnumber the demand. that pretty much clears the way for college students going into the fall semester which means covid should not be an obstacle for college athletics during the 2021-22 school year.
i've already booked my hotel room for ghoe. it'll be interesting to see how many social events will be allowed for ghoe this year. not sure if we'll reach "herd immunity" by then cuz there's still a lot of folk who are hesitant to take the vaccines or refuse to take it altogether...

I received my 1st Moderna shot and I was supposed to get the 2nd last Friday, but the clinic did not get their shipment in from the Health Dept so im postponed for another week or so. The second shot is a doozie, but I'm already past the point of no return anyway so... *Shrug*
Edit: I'm still debating on if I'll attend GHOE this year or not. I've already determined that I'm gonna skip the NC State Fair. in spite of the liberal bubbles that are Raleigh, Durham, and Charlotte areas, this is still a red state and folks are still politicalizing mask-wearing and this vaccine...

My Mom is 86 years old (Aggie Class of 1956) and got both of her Pfizer shots in in Charlotte in March with absolutely no problems.
I took my second Moderna shot on Monday and my arm is aching as expected. I should be fine on tomorrow.
My 37 years old daughter took her shots and they kicked her tail!

i'm definitely gonna keep wearing my masks and gloves until 2 weeks after i've had my 2nd shot. not sure i'll keep wearing it after that though, but i probably will just to be on the safe side. i'll definitely keep wearing it when its required though, like at the grocery store or other places.
i haven't thought about it too much yet, but i'll likely keep wearing it until i feel its safe not to wear it. there's still a lot of folks who haven't been vaccinated yet...

I wear my masks everywhere but at home and in my car. When football season rolls around I'm pretty sure that I'll still be wearing my masks.
My plan is to keep wearing them until the end of the calendar year. I live in Florida, remember? These people are crazy!!

1st Pfizer shot over the weekend. No real side effects other than queezy stomach and arm was stiff but not sore. Easier than expected. I had to let y'all go first.
