How do we make Aggie-Eagle game better post MEAC beside NCCU getting better on the field?
1) We got to play for some trophy or belt.
2) The timing of the game. Will it better early or later in the season. Well the conference will dictate that.
3) Good promotions
Any other suggestion. I just brought this topic up because we would have play them on Sat except for COVID

I agree we need to play for a trophy or something like that.

Play for the Hayes-Stonewall trophy. Hayes attended that "school" up 85 and coached us, Robert "Stonewall" Jackson attended A&T and pitied the "school" up 85 so much he became a longtime assistant coach there.
Gotta calm down the animosity too. College students and alumni shouldn't be in the news for a fight between each other every few years. That's just ridiculous. We could caption it something like "Knocking my brother down to help him back up once the clock hits zero" or something corny.

If you want more butts in the stadium seats you've got to get more butts to come to campus the day of the game. Here are a few events that might draw potential fans to campus:
1. High School Band Day... Invite high school bands to a special band clinic, band exhibition and discount game tickets. Special Drawing for major prize 2. Greensboro City School Day... all city school students and their parents get in for $10.00 3. Greensboro City Employee Day... all city employees get a discount ticket 4. Job Fair... invite in local companies and host job fair in Moores Gym... attendees get small discount on tickets 5. High School Day Party... 6. College Student Day Party... 7. WalMart Appreciation Day... anyone showing up for the game with a Walmart receipt gets a discount game ticket and they qualify for a special drawing for a major prize.

'69 the game will not always be played in Greensboro.
Each city, Durham and Greensboro could possibly implement some of your ideas to get a decent crowd.
I liked it when we played Central on a neutral site although that created financial problems for both schools.
Both schools still draw pretty decent crowds at their stadiums just because who they are.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.

We draw just 16-18K. I still say we need to find a sweet spot in the pricing tiers such that we maximize revenue AND fill the stadium. And with no conference standings implications, the game should be closer to the beginning of the season again.

-Def should be a trophy -our overall atmosphere needs an uptick -when the game is played is key

How de we define success? What does it look like? Is adding 2k more people worth losing $50k in profit? How do you measure success?

How de we define success? What does it look like? Is adding 2k more people worth losing $50k in profit? How do you measure success? What are you talking about? Success is playing in front of a full stadium with no drop off in revenue from current levels. If 3000 seats are empty now, how are you losing money by filling them? You could give them away and make additional money in concessions. The fans that are priced out of attending the game are not the same demographic as the fans that currently attend so you are not cannibalizing your current fan base. I don't understand your logic.

You can fill the stadium to the brim and charge $5 but you would make more money charging $20 and having it half full. A full stadium doesn’t equal more revenue 3k additional attendees may not equal increase in concessions revenue, there is only so much throughput our slow concessions can handle. I’m sure there is a max number they can serve at any game due to lack of efficiency.

But you can have a $5 pricing tier ticket with High School ID and increase butts in the seats and not lose a dime because you have expanded a segment of your fan base while filling the stadium.
