yeah but there was no celebration bowl in 2013... The Celebration Bowl does not solely determine an hbcu champion. It is an agreed upon championship created by espn events between the MEAC and SWAC. No other hbcu conferences are obligated to recognize the winner as hbcu champs. Other schools can be named hbcu champs by other polls. but that's not my point. my point is that there was no cb champion to "challenge" tsu as hbcu champs. ever since the creation of the cb, the hbcu champ (by most media outlets) has been the cb winner whether justified or not. tsu did not have to deal with that in 2013...

TSU has been hot 💩 ion the field that’s y there has not been a challenge to the celebration bowl champions for the mythical championship.
Had TSU had an undefeated regular season and won a game or two in the playoffs then they would have probably been named champs. Especially with a 2 loss or one loss celebration bowl champion.
