The MEAC is not dead. There are options for it to remain viable. One simple solution is for UMES to simply add football and for school presidents and AD’s to chose to stay. I am a fan and definitely not in the decision loop. UMES has gotta find $2 - $3 million annually to fund the sport. And 10-15 million to get it off the ground.

Thomas is a potted plant as I just watched the zoom conference the Howard prez did most of the talking.... Much different in the SWAC, their commisioner not only speaks but has a vision..... After seeing his accomplishments, I would have to disagree. Thomas is doing what the majority of the conference presidents are asking him to do. When you have two d-1 hbcu conferences it's probably best they align themselves with each other. If we had a different president and AD we'd most likely still be in the conference. Granted, we wouldn't be winning like we are either.

It Is up to Thomas to understand his constituents guidance, put together a future vision and strategy that would foster growth and opportunities.....I just didn’t see that happening with Thomas!
