hbcugameday.com/2020/05/08/trace-young-top-six-meac-swac-hbcus/The SWAC schools on Young’s list include Prairie View, the top team in the conference the last two seasons, along with Jackson State and Missississippi Valley State. Valley is coached by former NBA guard and Jackson State star Lindsay Hunter. North Carolina A&T is also a potential landing spot for Young. It has some impressive pieces already with senior guard Kameron Langley, transfer guard Blake Harris and above-the-rim star Kwe Parker as it preps for its final season in the MEAC before bolting for the Big South. /photo/1

He is certainly building drama and anticipation. If it is a basketball decision, it's us. If it is a close to home change the program decision, it's Howard. I would be totally surprised if he chooses any of the SWAC schools.

well it helps our cause that we beat both howard (twice) and norfolk last season. it also helps our cause that we led the meac in attendance and coach jones has had some success signing "lefties" and this dude is indeed a "lefty"...

I’m saying that it’s between us and Norfolk State.
This guy played over in Big Sky Country...on the other side of the United States. Playing in Norfolk or Greensboro will feel like being just down the street from his roots in the DC area, while not feeling that he’s stuck playing back at home..

He would be a nice to have... Signing him could drastically change the dynamic of our basketball recruiting profile going forward.
