This timeline seems real strange... But hey, I'm glad he's at an HBCU and there was a nice segment on FS1. Hopefully, more will follow.

He did pick an HBCU just not one on his list. It would be great for ASU to come to Corbett next season with the nice hype.

I just glad that he stuck with his desire to sign with an HBCU program.

And that HBCU wasn't NCCU or FAMU!

Is he really that good? Why did he transfer?

He's a good player with a world of potential if developed properly. A 6'9 wing player with handles and damn near a unicorn at an HBCU. He has some basketball pedigree having played high school ball in the Baltimore area. So, it's a good pick-up for ASU, I assuming that's Alabama State and not Alcorn.

I mean he was a 3 star recruit coming out of high school. He went to a non basketball cultured team Wyoming. If he had been as good as some people are suggesting he would not have gone to Wyoming and he would not be transferring to an HBCU to rescue him or rejuvenate his career. He averaged 6.8 ppg and 3.4 rebounds at Wyoming. He spent last season at John A. Logan College in Illinois.
I mean the headlines he is getting is as if he is Michael Jordan transferring. I don't even think he would start on our Aggie team. I ain't disappointed.

I actually, wish that we had a Holiday Tournament on MLK wknd, like the CIAA used to have -they had it @ the Scope, and ball out vs one of those teams. I know that we are then in league play though.

For me, the Trace Young would have been a "Nice to have" player, not a "Have to have" player. If we get a strong post player that can average 15 points, 2 blocks and 8 rebounds a night, we are fine.
