For me, the Trace Young would have been a "Nice to have" player, not a "Have to have" player. If we get a strong post player that can average 15 points, 2 blocks and 8 rebounds a night, we are fine. We are in better shape in the post then you think. Harry is capable of all of that but a lot of you may not like the way he does it especially the scoring LOL .

I just glad that he stuck with his desire to sign with an HBCU program.
It's my opinion that Mr. Young wanted to attend a school where he can be the focus of the offense and there by enhance his chances of going to the league next year. The new coach at Alabama may be able to offer more exposure for him to showcase his talents.

A&M had 3 guards that lead the team last season Alford , Hicks and Tucker were Fr . Young is going to have to earn his playing time .

My gut says, no, with the late arrival of Mo Williams as head coach, he probably said NBA player, and switched at last minute to ASU.
In this situation we actually come out on top.

ASU basketball just landed on postseason apr restrictions. Wonder if Young did his homework? not if he's interested in postseason play. but he said during his video podcast that he's done his homework and researched the hbcu's he's interested in. so either mo wiliams swept him off his feet at the 11th hour before he had time to research asu, or else trace doesn't care about playing in the postseason...

I think we should all give him a shout on Twitter show him our strong points but do not down playing other University on his list.He could be the start of Major Players coming as we enter the Big South and Beyond. Please be careful with this tactic if you’re a booster or donate to the AAF. If you are a Alumni period, I was called out by compliance because I was talking to my former roommates son, when he was considering A&T and Broadway was talking to him about transferring in. It’s called tampering!

It’s called tampering! I stated this to someone before " I always advise people not talk to any player that is contemplating transferring until they have entered the portal but even then you have to use your words selectively .
