Major question is the status of Kwe Parker's ankle. He back out to floor with street clothes after landing awkwardly following a block. As Turk statednhe is one of the Aggies better on ball defenders and to me offensively could be and x-factor during tournament play. Defensively you have to respect his outside shooting (surprisingly one the Aggies more consistent 3-pt shooters this season)as well as athleticism going to the rack (dunk-yard-dogs).
Hopefully he just needs a couple days, if not hope he can go next week.

Coming down to the wire. Man, I miss the days when we traveled both the pep band and the cheerleaders to that gym.

I know it’s a big big game but not sure I would play Parker if he not close to 100%. Got look for Cleveland, Maye, and Mattex to step up like they did last night .

6-14 from the line....Really A&T? You seemed shocked, lol. Irritated more than shocked i guess. It seems impossible that a college team/player, especially a guard could suck this bad at the line. I think the percentage got worse after I posted that number. Langley by himself was 6-13. If he moved up to just 75% we would probably be undefeated and he would be player of the year no question........Well, ironically one of our best FT outings was a loss to Coppin State.

It comes down to coaching. Obviously no one of the staff is capable of teach proper shooting form on free throws. Everybody on the team has their own individual mechanics and thus everybody on the team is pretty inconsistent.
Until we hire an assistant coach who can come in and install an official free throw shooting standard, this problem will continue to linger.
Every player on the team should be shooting free throws the exact same (correct) way.
Just having the guys get extra reps at practicing bad shooting mechanics will not fix the issue.

It more mental as during the Howard broadcast Steve Rush said he was at practice the day before and watched Cam make 15 straight
You have to zone out at the line

Kam currently has terrible free throw shooting form that will prevent him from ever being a consistent shooter.
He allows to ball to sit in the palm of his shooting hand and he has too much horizontal movement when he raises the ball from his chest.
Basically he needs to create more spin on the ball with his fingertips (not palm) and shorten his lift motion.
There is too much variance in his mechanics right now to replicate it consistently. He can make 5 in a row ... and turn right around and miss 3 in a row.

Upon further review... there are some interesting thing to note about FT shooting. Yes... we're 350th in the nation at 60.1%. But we are also 2ND in the nation in FT shooting AGAINST us (63.0%) www.sports-reference.com/cbb/schools/north-carolina-at/2020.html#all_team_statsCase in point... SCSU is 50th in the nation in FTs at 75.0%. But against us... 15 of 23 (65.2%). Our pace and our ability to switch thru multiple defenses (man, 1-2-2, 1-3-1) wears teams down. And while we're not shooting FTs well... neither are they as a result. And if we continue to play our style better that they play theirs, we're going to come out on top on Thursday and next week.
