For the millionth time, there is absolutely no reason why we can't have bright green artificial grass at BB&T Stadium immediately.
They are tearing up the current track right after the season and that would be perfect time to install the field turf.

For the millionth time, there is absolutely no reason why we can't have bright green artificial grass at BB&T Stadium immediately. There is also no reason why we can't have green natural grass. I thought about reviving this thread yesterday but I said nah. I am now convinced that we don't care enough. Or our leadership doesn't understand how this tarnishes the brand that we say we are trying to build. I've been talking about this for five years, I'm tired. ...and before anyone brings it up again, we have been told by leadership that it's not about the money or the know how. I'm only left to conclude that we do not care. Shameful.

The grass looked like it was going dormant but it looked good enough for me. It had a nice, fall-like look. It also neutralized Bethune's speed just enough along with the cold and wind to frustrate them offensively.

The grass looked like it was going dormant but it looked good enough for me. That is your problem. You settle for mediocrity around here too much. Some of us demand excellence.

You guys don't understand, that brown grass is a continuation of our return to the "ghetto " image. Brown grass and rap music...ah the ghetto life!

I thought the grass looked great on homecoming. But that's the only time I have every thought that. Yesterday was as bad I seen it in a long time.
We live in a new era. From here on out all out games will have media. All games will be broadcast live, that field is what thousands will see every week. They have proven if they actually work at it, the grass could look great. But they have aslo overwhelmingly proven they do not have the capacity to maintain that level week in and week out. But no one really does.. hence why their is turf.
Whatever statement we are trying to do with grass is silly compared to the outcome. This is not difficult. Install the turf.. with Aggie in one end zone and Pride on the other. 💪

one word, "embarrassing"! I agree OSA it is EMBARRASSING but to who . The fans no it but it is EVIDENT THAT THE ADMINISTRATION THANKS OTHERWISE ! This grass debacle falls into the hands of the Administration period . These people throwing around the word Ghetto should ask our illustrious leaders why they continue to allow the Aggie Stadium grass to be maintained in a inappropriate stage. After all A&T and one of the permanent agricultural institutions in the state of North Carolina . If anything is GHETTO at A&T it is the thinking of our administrative leaders when it comes to the grass Optics . We can invest in Confederate gray uniforms and helmets but we can not invest in the Turf of Aggie Stadium to enhance the Optics there . It is time gentleman for the Administration to invest in Field Turf are a sustainable option to keep Aggie Field Green .

They need to take their azzes down the road to Raleigh and see what they are doing to maintain the field at Carter-Findley. Stop being too damn proud to ask somebody. Our Facilities department needs to hand over field maintenance to Athletics, or get off their butts and get it done right! This is entirely BS! Entirely. This not a question of field turf. This is a question of "want to". If AGGIES DO, then DO. And BTW, look at that video above one more time. IT IS GREEN GRASS that you see! YESTERDAY!
What makes it worse is we are supposed to be the HBCU version of NC State. The optics say, their Agriculture graduates, our Agriculture graduates. Their engineering graduates.. , our engineering graduates. Their science graduates ..., our science graduates. Their football field ...,our football field. I started out OK today, but I'm a little upset now.
AGGIE PRIDE? Who's proud of that field? It would be different if every field in NC looked that way. Oh, it just looks that way when you do nothing to it but cut it and paint it. Unacceptable for us to make these kind of decisions about our optics. Optics is all we have sometimes. If I was BB&T, I would not want my name attached to that visual, period.
