If playing indoors on artificial turf gets us the explosive offense I saw yesterday, I'm ready to switch. Lol

Would this be time for some field enhancements for all of the areas in and around the stadium for practice football and band rehearsals. An application of lime fertilizers that sort of thing?

Just need volunteers and a team of professional fund raisers. Anything done in and around Virginia Union's stadium would be a dramatically major improvement to that stadium. The Panthers had to have sod shipped in from Texas one year after a championship game. But, they are in a league of their own.

Just curious as to how high schools can afford turf but we can't For the umpteenth time, we can afford it. Typically turf fields cost between $650K - $850K and can be financed over 15 years. That would equate to a yearly payment of $50K - 75K per year or less depending on the down payment. We pay that much to maintain our current grass field now. Also because of the durability of turf, it opens up the possibility of additional revenue sources to use the field to offset costs. The financials work.

Just doing OK is not what A&T is about. We should always demand excellence in every facet of this university.
Our current field conditions are not excellent. Therefore we should pursue ways to improve it.
