pretty impressive stats, though i haven’t seen any video on him. according to maxpreps he averages 21.5ppg, 9.3rpg, and 2.7 apg. those are pretty impressive stats for a 6’3” guard. but i need to see some video on him...

I have seen him play a couple of times. Led Smith to the Metro 4A tourney title. High Motor, Good Basketball IQ and knack of putting the ball in the hole. Plays solid D
My source tells me it was Coach Joyner who came after him, and once the interim tag came off that sealed the deal.

Plays solid D My source tells me it was Coach Joyner who came after him, and once the interim tag came off that sealed the deal. I saw the Metro 4A title game. Pratt is legit on both ends. He defended Hendon Hooker well throughout the game. He is already more physical and athletic than any of the guards on our roster. That's what was missing last night. To get a player like this in our own backyard is a step in the right direction. Another player to watch from Smith is Jaylan Gainey, a 6'8" sophomore C. He's raw on offense, but he was the foundation of Smith's defense this year. He and Pratt were both at the NCCU game. With A&T grads coaching at both Dudley & Smith right now, this could be an interesting pipeline situation brewing. Sent from my LGLS991 using proboards

Establishing connections with local talent is a good start.

the hard part is signing a “big” who will have positive impact at the low major level...

Two guards already signed....as for coaches at Smith and Dudley, Griffis is also at Grimsley. However, Hunt did go to Jacksonville first so I don't think it means much. But it is better than not having Aggies in those positions. Weren't the football coaches at the same three schools Aggies last season? Of course two have been reassigned for the 2016 season.....

There was this 6-10 kid Jakeem Yates who played alongside Kennedy Meeks at W Charlotte who once gave us a verbal but opted for juco. I think he played at Louisburg last year and averaged around 12 and 5 for the season and has 2 years eligibility left. Might be worth exploring?

Let our staff know about these guys....and if any of you all personally know some of these guys, it never hurts to put a positive Aggie spin on them.

Nice. Good form on his jumper when he sets his feet. Strong finisher at the rim with a number of ways to get there. Solid handle. Willing to play defense out the gate....the same things I saw live.

Pratt can play. Comes from a very good travel club, Team Felton, which played on the UnderArmor circuit, along with several local kids, Hendon Hooker-Dudley, Jordan Perkins-GDS, Kam Langley-SW, Jalen Gainey-Smith. Those 5 were on the floor alot together.

I wonder what other schools were recruiting this young man.

Hunt loved A&T. Just wanted to leave. It was nothing we did. We got lucky his coach got fired and he knew he could come home
