The Scrimmage went pretty good. Both Offense & Defense had their moments. The 1st team defense started off hot the first couple of series. I think Kindle may have threw 4 Interceptions in the scrimmage, 2 of them landed in the hands of shutdown corner D'Vonte Graham. The Offense started to pick it up as the scrimmage progressed. Drake & Ricky Lewis really ran the ball well! Freshman Marquise Gorham had a spectacular day at Wide Reciever. He was catching everything thrown his way. He was unstoppable in the slot. Kindle looked really good running the read option also

New receivers against one of the best overall secondaries in the nation and the best cornerbacks in the MEAC. Not surprising.

I'm so glad the defense is shutting him down. I believe in Kindle, but to many people have been declaring him savior for too long. he has to prove it and this defense is making him get better. Good job defense!

you can't read too much into the camps first scrimmage. folk should expect to see mistakes in the first scrimmage and a lot of them. anybody who expects to see the team clicking on all cylinders in the first scrimmage is totally unrealistic.
kindle throwing 4 interceptions in the first scrimmage shouldn't be alarming to anyone. its a scrimmage, its probably happened before. you're gonna take more chances in a scrimmage than you would in a game. and, this time of year, defenses are "always" ahead of offenses. offense takes more timing, more coordination, and rhythm than defense and it takes time to get all of that together.
the only thing i get concerned about in the first scrimmage is that no one gets injured. aside from that, this is just a first step of many steps to prepare for the season opener. too early to draw conclusions about anything...

Good job defense! why you always hating on kindle? if he stays injury free, he's likely to graduate from a&t as our all time leading passer and will likely break virtually every aggie passing record in the books. what else do you want from the guy? i don't get it...

OSA I don't think that AM is hating on Kindle ! But the statement that he made is true. Playing against a good Defense will only make him a better QB at reading the Defense, their by making Kindle a better player when the season starts. I think that Broadway has taken off the chains and has put the Offenses in Kindles Hands for him to lead ! It is better to make the Mistakes in a live Scrimmage then to make them in a game. But we all no that the Defense is always a head of the Offense at this point anyway. What would have been more upsetting is, If the Offenses would have dominated the Scrimmage now that is something too worry about...

Not hating. You need to be asking the same question to Broadway then. He's just recently started praising him. But I dont dislike Kindle. He's a pretty good QB in my opinion. he just hasn't done anything worth a whole lot of praise yet. He's got a lot of passing yards, but who wouldn't in our recent offense. As far as all time leader...... with our wishbone history I can see it. Unless you go Waaaay back we haven't had a good QB in the era of modern football where the spread is king.

AM the spread is a pass first Offenses anyway . Back in the day we called it the RUN and SHOOT with run first . But the modern day Spread is more of a Shoot and Run..LoL I think that Kindle will do just fine in what Broadway is asking him to do. Too be truthful I think that the Modem Spread hurts QB at the HBCU level as far as preparing them for the next level. But that is just my opinion. Kindles a good QB he'll do just fine!!

OSA I don't think that AM is hating on Kindle ! oh he's hating on kindle alright. he's hating on him because i praised kindle's high school video a couple of years ago and predicted that he'd break every a&t passing record on the books. and indeed kindle is on that pace. but my boy monster wants to discredit my prediction. that's why he hates on kindle. notice monster's comment regarding folk deeming kindle a savior? that's actually monster taking a shot at me because i'm the one who has praised kindle from the jump and still do. if kindle were to pass for over 3,000 yards this year and earn fcs all american honors, monster would still find something to criticize. he'd say something like, "well, kindle didn't win the heisman trophy..."

I'm not really concerned.
If it happens in real game, then yeah, we have problems.

Everyone needs to cool their jets for a minute this early in the year. This offense with this O-Line (one of our better ones since the early 90's) will produce points and we'll primarily run the football down a lot of people's throats with a quartet of RBs that is the best group since Hayes ran the Wing-T back in the day.
Kindle will be fine because he doesn't have to try to win games by just himself and Mayhew this year. As long as we stay away from injuries at the QB position, with this defense and especially this secondary, we got a great shot of having a very memorable season.
Let's just concentrate on getting ready for Coastal.

Get over yourself dude. I dont think about you when I comment on something. I said I like the kid, what you want me to do? Kiss his azz or something? My opinion is coming from a strictly non-biased observation. He threw 4 interceptions in practice. He still needs work and our defense is helping him get better. That's all I meant. Stop throwing your personal grudges into what I said. If you call what I said "hate" then so be it. It still "is what it is". He still threw 4 ints, but looked good at other times. That's having a lot of work to do, but better than the past in my book. Our other QBs in the past would have just thrown 4 ints with 0-1 TDs, so he's a step up definitely. Like A1 said. He wont be winning games alone this year anyway. Our running game is tops in the conference and so is our defense. He has the perfect situation to succeed this year. Your problem is once you say you like a player he can do no wrong. All players need to improve in something or they wouldn't be at an FCS school. Just cause I say what he needs to improve on doesn't mean I'm hating. Your just a pacifier of favorites. Took you 5 years to take back that you thought Eaves was a good coach cause you just couldn't go against what you initially said.

Save all the personal stuff for the PMs or the private forum and just have it out there. Ya'll do this about every two weeks or so.
