What do you think of are chance of playing in the 2012 MEAC?/SWAC games. I think there pretty good.
1) Norfolk will not give up the VSU Labor Day Classic 2) Bethune already played last year 3) SCSU will probably play a Div 1 school 4) FAMU might not have the band playing at any games next year 5) A&T fans will travel plus with the chance of playing Grambling in that game would make a nice storyline.

Another thread said we already have a scheduled labor day game with coastal. A strong season next year and I could see the Broadway Bowl in 2013 (A&T vs Grambling).

We should already have that labor day date filled- hopefully with WSSU.

I doubt if we'll have a game with WSSU next season. I think Coastal will probably be the second game of the season. In all likelyhood Labor Day will be a D-II opponent.

Why should we play a D2 school if its not going to be WSSU? I pray we have Coastal for Labor Day, i think that would be a great trip for the Aggies

I heard from a reliable source that a Labor Day game with WSSU is out of the question for 2012, so the Coastal Carolina game is probably a "go."

We should already have that labor day date filled- hopefully with WSSU. Can we get off WSSU? Let's focus on schools in our own division.

i don't like opening the season on the road unless its against wssu or nccu. otherwise, i'd rather play at home against a team that we have "at least" a 50% chance of beating. i wouldn't mind opening at home against a jcsu or somebody like that, if we can't get wssu. and i certainly wouldn't want to open against coastal on the road or at home either. but i'd luv for us to take a shot at wssu, preferably in greensboro.
i don't want to play the likes of a vul again. but we have to keep in mind that our team "overachieved" this season in my opinion. i still find it hard to believe that our coaches pulled off such an outstanding season with such a small roster to work with. and we still won't be back to full strength scholarship wise next season.
so i'd like to have a "winnable" opening home game or either play wssu, home or away (if a fair deal is worked out)...

I think Broadway and the boys showed us this year that even with a bunch of "walk ons" we will do battle with anyone anywhere. I want to play everyone in the darn MEAC and either Costal Carolina, App State, Elon or anybody else at that level. I think once we get more scholarship players we can handle them at home or on the road.

Of course we won't. They'd kill us. i don't think they would. if bcu couldn't do it and no other meac team could do it, then i don't think wssu could do it either. matter of fact, the way i see it, if we can beat bcu, then we can beat wssu. no hbcu dominated us this season and i'd expect that we'd have an even better team next season. i wouldn't have said this last year this time, but now i say "bring 'em on"! we ain't scurd!! wssu don't scare me. i say bring 'em on!
