okay, i'm new to A&T and bluedeath, but i don't get it. receivers are dropping balls all over the place, but you need to get rid of the QB??? LMAO! QB is only as good as the receivers. i saw balls put right in the palms of their hands and............................ From what i understand, all four QB's last year didn't do jack squat..... SMH,
I agree with you on the above points. Kindle is a great improvement at QB over our recent QBs and he's done that with only one year of experience as a college QB. And to think, he'll be with us for another 2 years so he may break a lot of A&T records before he graduates. My biggest hope is that the coaching staff gets or develops some great receivers for him next year because we're going to miss Wallace Miles.

I NEVER LOOK BACK. I ONLY DEAL WITH WHAT IS HERE AND NOW. KINDLE WILL BECOME A GOOD COLLEGE QB IN HIS OWN RIGHT. BUT HE HAS A LOT OF WORK TO DO TO BE A GREAT QB AT THIS LEVEL. HE HAS TO SHOW TRUST IN NOT JUST ONE BUT ALL OF HIS RECEIVERS. THAT IS WHAT SEPARATES A GOOD QB FROM A GREAT QB, ALONG WITH THE ABILITY TO LOCATE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY RECEIVERS BASED ON WHAT THE DEFENSE IS GIVING HIM ARE CHECK DOWN TO AN EMERGENCY OUTLET RECEIVER IF NEED BE, BUT JUST FOCUSING ON ONE GUY AT THIS LEVEL JUST WON'T CUT IT AT THIS LEVEL . IF I WERE KINDLE I WOULD HAVE THE OTHER RECEIVERS OUT ON THE FIELD ASAP EVERYDAY TO BUILD THAT BOND FOR NEXT YEAR. AND LET THEM KNOW (I'M DEPENDING ON YOU TO STEP UP AND BE MY GUYS) SO GET YOUR BUT IN GEAR. WE MAY WELL FIND THAT GREAT RECEIVER TO COME IN NEXT YEAR. BUT IT'S ALWAYS BETTER TO DEVELOP WHAT YOU HAVE THEN TO HOPE FOR WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE!!!! THAT IS WHAT A LEADERS DO.

BUT IT'S ALWAYS BETTER TO DEVELOP WHAT YOU HAVE THEN TO HOPE FOR WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE!!!! THAT IS WHAT A LEADERS DO. This statement made by Jaybee is what happened to A & T last year. All we heard two years ago was we need another qb or use the kid from dudley high school. The wish was granted last year and look what happened 1-10. The qb totals for the last five years don't total to what your qb accomplished this year after returning from an ACL injury. Over 2000 just in case you wondered. qbs throw to the open person and the person they have confidence in. it is bad that the qb has to throw a softball hoping the wrs can catch the ball. Go back and pay attention to how many 3rd down passes were dropped. Go back and look at how many total passes were dropped. As Miles stated players must work off the field to be good on the field. Go back and check how many TD passes in the last four years. I'm just glad to know that some of us understand football. Check the record book to see how many records were broken by the qb. Hopefully because the qb returned this year Miles now has a chance to make it at the next level. And you think you need a qb. LOL! Maybe your wish can come true and the qb will go where he is wanted.

Wait, what wish was granted last year? Our QB got hurt and we had a qb that was horrible until the baseball player came along and at least made the offense respectable. No one on this board has said we dont want Kindle? Where are you guys getting this from? Most of the board love's his current progress that he has made. I know your new to the board and all, but I dont see any "get rid of kindle" post here. What i see is people talking about a bad game he had and saying he needs to correct those mistakes. Kindle has 2 more years. He's going to be really good at some point. Just wasnt REALLY good this year. He had some good games, but also had a few bad ones and bad plays. No one on this board is saying he wont grow into one of A&Ts best. Oh, and welcome to the board! Like saabmaan said, I think some of you new guys need to go back and read some of the old post.

THAT IS WHAT A LEADERS DO. saabman, i agree with most of what you stated. but its hard to teach "toughness". i have no doubt that our receivers other than miles can also catch a football if there's no traffic around. but they're afraid to catch in traffic and i don't know how to fix that. you can have the best hands in the world and the best concentration, but unless you're willing to take a hit, you're not gonna catch passes in traffic. that's what miles does that the others don't and i suppose that's why kindle went to him more than the others. saabman, do you know how to teach a guy to catch passes in traffic while taking a hit? i don't. that pass that raper dropped at the goal line against norfolk was dropped because he took his eyes off the ball and was looking at the defender approaching him. to me, that's just a lack of toughness. concentrate on the ball, catch and secure, lower head and shoulder if possible and then take the hit...

YOU NEED COACH GROOMS. THE OSA. COACH GROOMS US TO HAVE HICK'S AND THE OTHER DB'S HIT US IN PRACTICE IF YOU MADE THE CATCH ARE NOT....LOL. GROOMS WOULD SAY "SON YOU JUST AS WELL CATCH IT BECAUSE YOUR GOING TO GET HIT ANY WAY...LOL. I US TO FEEL SORRY FOR THE RECEIVERS BECAUSE O.HICKS,STEVE,RAP BROWN AND THAT LOW DOWN BIRD LOVED THAT TARGET PRACTICE IN 7 ON 7. BUT IT WORKED...LOL MAKE THE CATCH AND GET DOWN ARE GET THE (H) OUT OF THEIR. THAT'S THE ONLY WAY I NO.....LOL YOU CAN'T TEACH "TOUGHNESS" BUT YOU CAN MAKE A PLAYER TOUGH. AS FOR ME I COULD CATCH ANYTHING COMING OUT OF THE BACK FIELD AND I LOVE RUNNING THE BALL INSIDE-OUTSIDE I WAS COOL WITH THAT BUT WHEN FACE MOVED ME TO RECEIVER I HATED IT BECAUSE I HAD ALWAYS BEEN A (RB) IT'S JUST THE PLAYER AND HIS STATE OF MIND. CHANGE HIS MIND SET YOU CHANGE THE PLAYER. ANY WAY WE WOULD HIT ALMOST EVERY DAY BUT YOU CAN'T DO THAT NOW.
