Thanks for all of your positive comments to my post about Skyler. I will pass along the well wishes. I understand where each of you are coming from and I respect your passion for AGGIE Football. Keep up the support of the AGGIE Football team and come out and watch them play or listen to them on the radio. Brighter days are ahead!
A couple of quotes that I came across that will be helpful as the AGGIES rebuild are:
- Bo Jackson "Set your goals high, and don't stop till you get there."
- Paul "Bear" Bryant "Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself."
With your support the AGGIE Football program will regain it's place of prominence once again in the MEAC! All the best to each of you.

He's not a great punter. I get that. He didn't even want to punt, he agreed to it. Even more insight that should get people off his back. Sounds like a great kid who just wanted to help out where he could.
With that being said. If other kids had made plays in the 4th quarters and we went 3-1 or 4-0 during this stretch no one would be even talking about the punter. I'm not sure I've even had the word "punter" in my post all year. He isn't the greatest, but he didn't lose that game or none of the previous 3 by himself.
Lets just end this season well and beat the Dirty Burgandy.

Mayhew has been practicing all week, with a slight hitch in his giddy up . thanks oldschool for the update. its a good sign if he's practicing at all. that means to me that he intends to play this weekend. and trust me, based on my past experiences, that slight hitch in his giddy up will be gone on saturday...

We will need all of the components of the team to be clicking as one Back ups and starts. This may well be the game that an unknown player makes a name for himself are a starter becomes a legend.

He looked really sharp yesterday and made good decisions, made some very tough throws on the crossing routes, the swing and waggle patterns and his deep outs. Although he's no Cam Newton he bought time and made some scramble pickups when the pocket collapsed and kept the third and longs to a minimum and most importantly no turnovers.
He grew up a lot yesterday. Skylar had a good day of punting and kicking as well. Both of these kids really stepped up their game yesterday.

okay, i'm new to A&T and bluedeath, but i don't get it. receivers are dropping balls all over the place, but you need to get rid of the QB??? LMAO! QB is only as good as the receivers. i saw balls put right in the palms of their hands and............................ From what i understand, all four QB's last year didn't do jack squat, including the one from the baseball team and you want to get rid of the only decent QB A&T has had in a while? The receivers (outside of Wallace) were not getting the job done. While I'm at it, what about the defense? Had QB running for his life on more than one occasion. So.......do we need to get rid of the lineman, too? And since the coach calls the plays, should we give him the heave-ho, too? ..............mmph mmph mmph......................SMH
