Keep it up, you will be paying for parking and Game Zone, LOL we "should" pay for parking. i've been advocating that since i first became a bdv member. i'm all in favor of opening up the classroom parking lot and charge folk $10 or $15 to park there. i'd be more than happy to pay that amount rather than walk nearly half a mile to a mile to get to the stadium. the classroom parking lot is right across the street from the stadium and is well worth a $10 or $15 parking fee. i don't know why we don't do it, other meac schools do and its a low cost "profitable" operation... The classroom parking lot across the street from the stadium is already reserved for AAF Coaches' Club and above members.

All of the above mentioned should be paying for parking along with the regular attendees. Get perks inside the game and maybe get a parking discount with decal.

I agree that we should charge for parking, but I not sure I understand your post. The parking is a perk (the only perk in some cases) for a min. of a $1200 AAF membership. Which is better for the University, fulling the parking spaces with $1200 donors or $75 (5 homes x $15) patrons?

Rather AAF should have the entire lot and be charged a discount. Call it priority parking. Also come up with some more cost friendly incentives, AAF should have Gold Helmet access or at least their own room. Im all for AAF and am not knocking the perks, but lets assess how we reward these individuals. Lets be proactive instead of reactive. Sooner or later there will be more AAF than there will be spaces available and if we dont make some adjustments now, we'll just be creating another BDV thread entitled "Parking for AAF" in the next two to three years.

I'm still not getting your point. Why shouldn't parking be a perk? Wouldn't $1200 cover the parking cost? Regarding the increase in AAF membership, you are right that's why it starts at the Coaches' Club level (there are three level below and three levels above). When the membership exceeds the available spaces they will just remove the perk from that giving level.

Maybe I should have used the term "assigned" instead of "reserved". Though the space may be empty for every game, it's really not available because it's allocated to an AAF member whether they ride with someone, have a tailgate pass also, walk or are a no-show. I don't know if every single space is assigned and if not, there is no reason not to partition accordingly.
