Aggie77:Any time you have a Coaching change you have this type of Rhetoric. That is why at a lot of schools when they change Head Coaches they change the entire senior staff and being in their own are replace the head Trainer with one that they have worked with before. Trainers are like Coaches in away. They get Use to doing things a certain way for a certain Coach and it's hard to change that practice. As in Human Dynamics Effective Communication skills are important both in business interactions as well as personal interactions. Some just Communicate it differently and that maybe the underlying problem. We Coaches at Blinn CC have a relationship between Coach and Trainers. We openly Communicate with the Trainers and they likewise . If a player is out for more then a week that is OK but anything over that he/she is going to a doctor to get and evaluation /diagnosis and if he/she is cleared by the Dr they are back on the field. The trainer know this. Now if a player continues to complain we get a 2nd opinion if he/she is cleared then they must be on the Field. If not we talk with the head trainer and if he states that all of the steps have been taken on this player and noting is found we let that player know Hit the field are the Highway are pay your own way. Cut and Dry. If Broadway has taken all the steps and the player is cleared by the Dr their is no reason why the Trainers should say otherwise! That is all I am saying. aggiejazz: I'm feeling that (The Great Way”). But we maybe over shooting this whole thing. More information should come out soon on this I'm not sure why this directed to me, This doesn't appeared to related to my issue, but thanks. I see you cut back on the emoticons. Thanks, that was making me paranoid with all that winking, eye rolling and bulging eyes. I'm not feeling any of the nicknames! It must be time for a poll.

This is not a fight! I understand what your saying and I would never do what Broadway did unless their was a reason and i had exhausted all of my Options. What we don't know is what is keeping the conversation going. Did the Trainer have an evaluation /diagnosis done by a Dr?? What did the Dr say? Did he/she clear the 5 player to return to the field are what? Did Broadway try to get the information from the Trainer are Dr? Their is too many unknowns at this point.

I think folks have to remember who we hired. He's not going to keep his mouth shut about anything that bothers him. Guess what? At 230 large guaranteed he doesn't have to.
Now y'all are starting to see what I was saying about how people aren't sad to see him leave even though he's a winner. Sit back and enjoy the ride folks. We ain't seen nuthin' yet. You won't even remember this one in a few weeks.
Dude is gonna kick whoever's azz he has to kick in order to win, period. That includes yours and mine, so our opinions won't matter so much. He didn't take this job to lose. He took it to make a lot of money, be close to family, and to win.

I guess there are several opinions on this but its seems a classic case of making a mountain out a ant hill. "an ant hill" Really? C'mon man! Maybe you have more time to proof your post on a fan board. Fortunately I dont have that kind of time. ;D Either way I am sure you got the context of the comment.

Their is too many unknowns at this point. i agree, there's too many unknowns for us to "intelligently" discuss the details of this topic. but, hey! that's why we have fan message boards! its our job to speculate and draw opinions. as an aggie administrator, the fix to this issue is rather simple. but as message board posters, its just conversation and a whole lot of speculation. and that's cool! it generates interest in aggie football and that's a good thing. but we aren't gonna solve any problems here. for me, i can see the light at the end of the tunnel now! my wait is almost over! i've got it in cruise control now. its just a matter of time before i get to see a brand new era of aggie football! if we lose the game because of "cramp gate" (i like that term too, saabman), then we've got bigger issues to deal with than broadway's press conference comments. "cramp gate", that's funny...

Well, I hope he is successful...I think we can stand to be patient with a coach of his pedigree. I hope we don't get like the Grambling folks and run him off because of a few philosophical differences.

yeah, its unfortunate. i suppose if we had the resources of the bcs schools, we could hire trainers who are dedicated to one specific sport only. that way, broadway could hire his own trainers just as he did his assistant coaches. forced marriages don't always workout. just like coach lee and coach ragsdale.
so even though this looks bad, we've seen worse...

The man just puts it out there if he does step on toes. And stepped on toes hurt. He stated here in Charlotte that a number of things at A&T must change, including policy, before we can turn this thing around. We had better listen to the man we hired because we surely don't and haven't had the answers as to how to get where we want to be. He even blew up here in Charlotte a little when several questions arose concerning the idea of the Fan/Fun Zone. Yeah he stepped on my toes a little there but he was right. We went 1 and 10 last year, every darn thing has gotta change.

True that!! That statement put it in a nut shell!! I know some think that Change is hard but it's not if you really wont it. Broadway and the new Track coach will change the way things are done at A&T.
DOOMS said it best "Sit back and enjoy the ride folks". and it's going to be a Hell of a Ride!!!! lol

Doctors have not released the respective players to play.
I think Coach Broadway is furstrated with what he has right now, which is not enough talent and not enough depth. He knows he is going up against a semi-pro team this Saturday and he is not worried about winning but is worried about losing players in this upcoming game.

Yes...Finally someone who knows what they are talking about. The players haven't been released yet. Hint ...hint we arent speaking of cramps. And I hear ya loud and clear on football. How about health and safety, I for one am gald we have trainers on board who realize how one weighs over the other. And are willing to do the job they been hired to do. Its a sad thing when so many get it all twisted, then we have a problem and everyone jumps on the other complaint wagon. Stay the course trainers. Broadway will get on board or get over it. Because with all the magic this board thinks he has, he can't breath life back into a player intrusted to him.
