I agree with ohsixrain! 8-)And with some of what oleschoolaggie said about This Cramp Gate. ;D lol. 5 weeks is just to too long just for Cramps. Also I would think that some type of doctors diagnosis would have been given after 5 weeks . Hell if you are out 5 weeks that is a medical red shirt qualifier . Miss 5 weeks if you wont to with out a Doctors Diagnosis and see where you end up at . . Hell Face would Red shirt you if you missed a Week let alone 5 . I just feel that it just maybe a Communications Gap going on somewhere. Fix that and you fix the problem. aggiejazz made a good point it may just be a Show?? Aggie77 : I love the Hell out of it" Because WE HAVE A COACH THAT IS NOT AFRAID TO SPEAK HIS MIND . THAT IS WHAT I LOVE! 8-)AND OLD SCHOOL COACH IS WHAT A&T HAS NEEDED AND NOW WE HAVE ONE! A COACH THAT IS GOING TO MAKE EVERYONE ACCOUNTABLE IF IT'S NOT RIGHT . SOME MAY NOT LIKE IT . BUT I LOVE THE HELL OUT OF IT SO DEAL WITH IT!!! !

Man, you really killing it with those emoticons aren't you? Coach Lee spoke his mind too, don't you remember? I'm just saying! I don't have a problem with a coach speaking up for his program. My issue is, it should not be at the expense another. You don't climb over people to get your what you want, especially when you are on the same team.

Hail fire........the wrath of "Funkiness"!!!! It's sho gitting funky in here! "Do the Funky Broadway"---d**e and the Blazers made it famous and "Funky B" is keeping it alive. Attention Aggies--point blank--- I see everyone's argument but this is what we got and there are gonna be some bumps in the road until ERRRRRBODY gets on the same page. Unless "Funky B" does sumthin REAL drastic we can talk until our mouths catch on fire but it ain't gonna change the way he does business. Of course, there needs to be tweaks on BOTH sides but REMEMBER ther are a LOT of changes that needed to and need to take place within our athletic department. Personally, I don't think you should show up in a sports coat w/shorts at a press conference but, hey, we put ourselves in this position by past administrations making BAD decisions after BAD decisions!! If we work around the rough edges of "Funky B's regime we MIGHT be able to see some day light!!!! GO AGGIES

Aggie77, I'm not here to fight with you on this...but, I just don't see where our program has been set so far back by these comments. Now, I may be dumb, naiive or stupid...you name it, I just don't see it. The problem I have is, we'll Monday Morning quarterback the coaches and the team's performance...so if he's open to such criticism then he has a right to be frustrated with his practice performance or non peformance of his players. As I stated...Broadway has the formula, he knows how to turn a program around and win. But WE want a coach with winning pedigree but, WE want to question the manner in which makes him a winner! If he isn't breaking any rules then so be it. No one said that you'd like every decision he makes or has made. That's all...my opinion is, it will be alright and resolved. Now, I don't buy into the sky is falling way of thinking because of one press conference. So with that I disagree.

Now...I recall Coach Lee, and I liked Lee alot, calling Hampton out in a press conference. Some here thought it was counter-productive because it gave the other team motivation. Others said it was confidence. Me, myself...I can ride or die with a coach like that too but, make sure our team is prepared before you make statements like that. Hampton cruised to a 24-14 victory and the game wasn't as close as the score. Should he had made the comments? I don't know...but whose right or wrong? I think he realized he may not should have made those comments when Monday rolled around. Give the coach a chance to be who he is.

well, i'm glad we've got something to debate about because it was gettin' really boring around here! i think hilton/martin needs to nip this in the bud and move on. in my opinion, its a problem when the head football coach and the head trainer don't see eye to eye. more than any other sport, the head football coach and the head trainer need to be on the same page.
my only measurement for both sides is whether or not they are putting the best interests of the athletes first, and not their ego. if either of their actions were taken for "any reason" other than the best interests of the athletes, me personally, i have no tolerance for that.
if they both truly believe they have the best interests of the athletes in mind but they disagree on how to move forward, then a superior (hilton/martin) needs to step in and make that decision for them. after that, they must put an end to the squabbling because it harms the program. they don't have to like each other, but they do have to perform their jobs professionally without prejudice. take the emotions out of it and do ya dayum job! you ain't gotta like each other, just do ya dayum job!
goosh, sometimes full grown adults act just like children...

hey, on a "positive" note, i checked the weather forecast for this weekend's game and it should be a beautiful day! they're calling for partly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 80's and lows in the low 70's. perfect late afternoon football weather. and here's the best part! they're calling for only a 10% chance of rain!
oh, yes! let the games begin! should be a very nice drive down this weekend... ;D
hey, thrilla! ain't it about time to pull out this weekend's predictions? nobody really knows anything about this vul football team. if anybody is able to predict the outcome of this game with any precision? then i'd swear they have a crystal ball...

Aggie77:Any time you have a Coaching change you have this type of Rhetoric. That is why at a lot of schools when they change Head Coaches they change the entire senior staff and being in their own are replace the head Trainer with one that they have worked with before. Trainers are like Coaches in away. They get Use to doing things a certain way for a certain Coach and it's hard to change that practice. As in Human Dynamics Effective Communication skills are important both in business interactions as well as personal interactions. Some just Communicate it differently and that maybe the underlying problem. We Coaches at Blinn CC have a relationship between Coach and Trainers. We openly Communicate with the Trainers and they likewise . If a player is out for more then a week that is OK but anything over that he/she is going to a doctor to get and evaluation /diagnosis and if he/she is cleared by the Dr they are back on the field. The trainer know this. Now if a player continues to complain we get a 2nd opinion if he/she is cleared then they must be on the Field. If not we talk with the head trainer and if he states that all of the steps have been taken on this player and noting is found we let that player know Hit the field are the Highway are pay your own way. Cut and Dry. If Broadway has taken all the steps and the player is cleared by the Dr their is no reason why the Trainers should say otherwise! That is all I am saying.
aggiejazz: I'm feeling that (The Great Way”).
But we maybe over shooting this whole thing. More information should come out soon on this

I never view anything that I post as a fight with another poster, it's for all to read, and it's just my opinion. I completely understand your point; you are okay with a coach that publically criticizes other members of the Aggie Team, because it’s part of his winning formula. I just disagree with that approach. The only issue/question on the table is did the comments benefit Coach Broadway, the Players, the Program or the University? If you can answer yes to that, so be it.
