I will add that the NCAA will have to determine that VUL is a varsity football program and not a club team. You have to wonder how could VUL be considered a varsity football program when currently they are under no governing body that governs varsity football programs. Secondly, can a very small college with no facilities become a varsity football team in a matter of 4 or 5 months? When I made the comment about no governing body over VUL, I wasn't thinking "heck, VUL could sign up anyone onto their football program until they fall under a college governing body. I think Hilton and Broadway was thinking along the same line as I, "an easy win". The signing up VUL as an opponent could give Hilton and Broadway headaches during the game that they never thought could happen. I think A&T will win but VUL may have a few "ringers" who will bring "wood" onto the footbal field and make things uncomfortable for the Aggies.

WE WILL SEE!?? I do know that they have a lot of SPEED at receiver . A kid from cali 10:4 100m. with good hands. They also picked up a lot of St P's players and some semi pro players . It should be a good game but we can't understatement them. They have nothing to lose.!!

The Dragons play as an independent and have applied for membership in the U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association. They are in the process of reapplying for NCAA Division II athletics status, but this year's schedule features a hodge-podge of opponents including Fork Union Academy's postgrad team, Coppin State's club team and a scrimmage against Guilford College.www.news-record.com/content/2011/06/07/article/aggies_find_opponent_for_football_opener2011 VUL Schedule 8/27 Guilford College (Scrimmage) 9/3 North Carolina A&T State University - Away 9/10 Edward Waters College - Away 9/17 Louisburg College JUCO - Home 9/23 Longwood College - Away 9/24 North Carolina Tech Prep - Home 10/1 Coppin State University - Away 10/8 West Virginia Tech - HOMECOMING 10/15 Wesley College 10/22 Fork Union Academy Prep - Away 10/29 Lincoln University - Home 11/5 being scheduled 11/12 George Mason Univ. - Away Does anyone know if the scrimmage between Guilford and VUL took place? It has magically disappeared from both schedules.

5 opponents on VUL schedule that are 4-year colleges/university and have varsity football: A&T, Edward Waters, WVA Tech, Lincoln Univ and Wesley College. Louisburg doesn't count; George Mason is a club team and so are Longwood and Coppin State. Countable Opponents Only games against varsity teams of four-year (or two-year senior colleges), degree-granting institutions (that play a majority of their contests against U.S. college varsity teams) shall be included in individual and team statistics, won-lost records and coaching records. This can include non-U.S. schools such as NAIA members British Columbia or Columbia Bible, or NCAA provisional member Simon Fraser. For Division II only, countable competition also includes all four-year, degree-granting institutions located in Canada as defined in the NCAA Division II Manual Bylaw 31.3.3.1. www.ncaa.org/wps/wcm/connect/publ....istics+Policiethe N&R have it Wrong again. I can see why a lot for AGGIE fans are dissatisfied with their coverage . They can't get anything right. Hell the guys on the site investigate better then they do!!!

I'm a little confused by your math. You have 5 in the “yes” column and 4 in the “no” column, that's 9 games. But they have 11 games scheduled. Right? Wouldn't the games against NC Tech and Fork Union fall in the “no” column, making our game against them not count (6 no, 5 yes).

George Mason Univ. Fork Union Academy Prep,Coppin State University,North Carolina Tech Prep,Longwood College, are Club or Prep schools. Louisburg College is a JUCO. No you only need to play 4 teams. and they have the 5. So this game should be counted.

WHAT A WAIST OF TIME AND MONEY. NOTHING WAS GAINED OUT OF THE GAME BUT TWO PLAYERS HURT? I totally disagree. This game showed us some things we have to work on such as ball security and dropped passes.
