By the way, I have talked to Hilton and Broadway about this clown mess. Did you get the same response you got from trying to get Eaves fired?

bluehaze------- I have learned in this life that you don't always get what you want.....but I have also learned that a closed mouth doesn't get fed. The question should be WHO or WHEN has bluehaze voiced their opinion to a "DECISION-MAKER" about anything---not just ON HERE? .....GO AGGIES

No different than Michigan vs Delaware State What did it get Michigan? Absolutely nothing..... but a losing season and a search for a new coach at the end of the following season. You can't con your way into being a champion and A&T is putting out top HBCU money to be a champion within a few years. There is one big difference, at least Del State is considered a bonifide college football team from a NCAA Div I, lower FCS sub-division. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_Michigan_Wolverines_football_teamscores.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=292900130

What did it get Michigan? ..... Butts in seats. You got that right. 106,304 people attended that game! It probably earned UM about $3 million in revenue.

I'm a little confused by this "butts in seats" train of thought, are we somehow suggesting that DSU had something to do with that 106k butts? When is the last time Michigan didn't have over a 100k at the Big House?
If you mean some revenue is better than no revenue, then nobody can argue against that. It's still not the same as Michigan, because DSU did not help or hurt the Big House attendance. Unlike Michigan we need help with revenue.

Very good point the big house sells out regardless of who they are playing. The only benefit to UM was they sold out and had very little threat of losing the game. DSU on the other hand got a sizeable pay check as compared to their normal revenue.
If Univ of Lynch pulls a team together this will be their big pay day as well. If our football program was strong like in the late 80' s early 90's we to could have a sizeable turn out regardless of the oppenent but we are a long ways away from our hayday..
I still giving Brioadway a pass on these one I just hope UL is actually able to field a team. I am sure we will have a more finicialy sound and competitive first game next year.

I'm coming to the game to get a look at the newpress box and the campus. If VUL actually shows up I'll consider it a bonus.

What I mean is that Michigan needed an opponent in order even put on a game. That opponent was probably not what the UM fans wanted but it created the event for them nevertheless. We have the same situation. We needed a game. Let's celebrate. It's the beginning of a new season, a new coach, a new press box, a band with a reason to get much better, a new AD. The hell with who the opponent is, let's celebrate A&T!

I guess after all the complaining(myself included) that's all that's left to do, so lets get our "Aggie" on.

That's a good attitude to take fellas. The team definitely needs support, regardless of who we play.

That's a good attitude to take fellas. The team definitely needs support, regardless of who we play. yeah, i agree. we all should do whatever we can to support our team and to help dig us out of this apr mess we're in. matter of fact, i was so upset with our admins' fanzone proposal that i had completely made up my mind that i wasn't gonna renew my 2 season tickets this season, i'd buy single game tickets as needed instead. but then decks came along and made a statement that hit home with me. in so many words, he stated that if ever there's a time that a&t needed our financial support, its now. and that's so very true, that it made me change my mind. i still hate the fanzone proposal "for this season", but our alma mater needs our financial help as much as ever. so i'm gonna go ahead and roll with the fanzone and my season tickets. and, i don't mind paying full price for the vul game...
