SO say a person was to register for online classes at the Va Univ of Lynchburg, would they be eligible to play on the club team against A&T, even if they have exhausted their NCAA eligibility elsewhere?
Im about to get my squad together...

Most of this team are made up of guys who were at St. Paul's. The name of the school and uniforms may be different but the players and the coach are the same.
They may not be WSSU but this is no club team.

I would like to see A & T play a better opponent but that is all we have @ this time. Hell I would like to see us playing a BYU even if its just a (MONEY GAME) it helps Tee but the case being is this we have to WIN that game we have more to lose by playing VA Univ for not then by playing BYU for 500,000 and losing. VA Univ has noting to lose and a lot to gain by just keeping the game close.

VA Univ of Lynchburg is not a Club team .The Dragons are currently a university-sponsored independent who offers students athletic scholarships. They are part of (The United States Collegiate Athletic Association )(USCAA) is a national organization in the USA for the intercollegiate athletic programs of member small colleges. It holds national championships in five men's and women's sports. Countable game yes. I hope that we do not go into this game lightly and understatement this team. As I said before They VUL has nothing to lose!!!!!

The USCAA doesn't sponsor football.
The St. Paul's kids that were worth a darn already signed elsewhere before VUL even announced they would start a program. We don't even know who's on VUL's roster because they still don't know. They're still actively trying to get kids into school according to their (amateurish) website. Likewise, VUL getting Bailey as a coach wasn't some grand plan, it was dumb luck.
Nobody on earth knows what we're going to get with this team. They will either be a bunch of pushovers or a team of studs that couldn't get eligible. And we won't know until they print a finalized roster (don't hold your breath) or until they hit the field. I'm willing to bet we will be waaaaay overconfident going into this one. It can't be good news for a bad team to walk in overconfident. That being typed, they certainly have reason to be. My belief is that this VUL team will have about three studs and 50 duds, and we will beat them half to death. The following week we will get a taste of our own medicine.

Execution, Timing, efficiency of the substitutions, and not having to rush due to bad play clock management is what I'll be looking for in this game. (none of which was good last year)
Was the punt team ready to roll on 3rd down? Was the FG unit ready to roll on 3rd down inside the 30 yard line? When someone catches a cramp does the backup enter the game immediately? Are our linemen jumping off sides on high snap counts? Any missed assignments in the FG and punting game?
Things like that. That's the type of stuff that will give us a CHANCE the next week vs App.

Not to see them in the first game would definitely be a plus though. Decks, I feel you on the punt team, but there's another reason why you dont play these type of games with you being Waaaaay better than your opponent. Maybe he'll run 3 straight up the gut in the 4th quarter a couple of times to get some punts and/or field goals in.

Texas Southern has 11 straight games starting on 9/10. Playing us on 9/3 was probably not possible.

You know it is funny to see how the white schools support their programs. My oldest son played LB at Michigan and the other day he hit me with something that upset me at first but after thinking about it I found it to be true. He said that Michigan fans will support their team no matter what. We can have a low year but the fans will be there they may not like it but they are their, But at Black schools they turn there backs on their team in a heart beat if they have a bad year,
