Welp, does the game count or not? What does Hilton say? Hilton stated that the game will count in the NCAA record books. Below is the definition of a countable game in a little more understanding words: Bylaw 31.3.3.1 – Countable Competition. For NCAA, competition is countable only when the teams played are varsity intercollegiate teams of four-year, degree-granting institutions that conduct a majority of their competition in that team sport against varsity intercollegiate teams of four-year, degree-granting institutions located in Canada and the United States, its territories or possessions. Competition against service teams, professional teams, semiprofessional teams, amateur teams, two-year colleges and club teams shall be excluded.

What is really ticking me off is that none of these educators at both universities (VUL and A&T) care about the health and safety of the prospective VUL football players. A&T has gone through 2 deaths in this SE heat, so A&T by now, so know better, way better. The last sports related death happened because A&T violated health protocol. VUL doesn't have a governing body to report to, and is starting up a football team with lightening speed of weeks against all common sense, so who knows what protocol they have.
It is hot and humid in the SE right now, imagine the heat and humidity on the football field on Labor Day Saturday. Well trained athletes with the best support get heat cramps. Lord knows, I would hate to see an ill-conditioned and ill-trained VUL player pass-out on the field.
The Aggies have been training under the supervision of experienced professionals (football and health) the past year and more. We don't have to guess, to know that VUL doesn't have the professionals that A&T has, nor does VUL have experienced staff or facilities that a high school football team would have.
I am going to keep speaking on this because this is WRONG, not right and immoral. The difference in this game I speak against is not the difference in size, speed or talent. It is the difference between a properly trained and conditioned team ready for brutal physical contact and a team that is not.
Those that have played football know what I am saying and those that haven't ask a football player.

I know you all need a home game but I would have reached out to Elon and asked for a deal to at least get some of the gate and play them at Elon......They are right around the corner and it would be like a home game for you all... pitbull, i don't think there's any credible schools out there who have enough flexibility to change their schedule this late in the game. when ya start asking folk to "change" anything on their schedule in order to accommodate a&t 12 weeks prior to opening day, most schools will politely turn you down. its just a very tough predicament that has no easy answers... I understand what you all are going through...Last year we had the same thing happen ...A team change their mind at the last minute and decided to not play us ...We hit up temas in the SoCon and Big South but nobody wanted to play in the Burg....He had to settle for Mississippi Vally State....

I only ask because you seem to be very passionate about this issue. Even though I'm almost indifferent at this point I still let Hilton know that this type of scheduling is unacceptable going forward.

He'll get a good pancake block and not want back in the game. At least now this gives me someone to look at to see if he really has heart or he quits. I'm taking side bets. 2-1 in favor of him not quitting(based on his swagger talk). I got 5 on him quitting. He is 6'2" 290lbs defensive lineman/music producer that is 1 year removed from football. I got mad heart, but put me up against 6'5" 350lbs(that been working out instead of making music beats all summer) play, after play, after play, and I'm folding.

profiles.berecruited.com/athletes/479266That's a big boy. I wonder how many non-eligibles they'll be able to scrounge up for this mess. Cat's listed as 346 pounds on another site. I'm betting that's closer to the truth. You don't think the good lawd is on they side? Look at the similarities: Repent Aggies, before it's too late...

Man---this whole thing has got people all messed up if they think this is going to be a "gud un". My teachers at"T" taught me bout analytical and cognitive thinking. I think this game is some bullshi.......... If we are naive enough to agree with this game we will go for fried ice cream. Whatcha gonna do? Bar-B-Q or mildew?? Let me know if anybody wants the East Market St. Bridge, its still on the market!!! By the way, I have talked to Hilton and Broadway about this clown mess.
