Dooms, I must have been drinking the same stuff you were drinking, because he looked slow as molasses to me too.
Who timed him in the forty in high school, Goofy? I hate forty times anyway. To many variables! Let me see some game film!

Sorry fellas, I have watched Truesdale run the ball. He is not slow and runs with power. Hence, the tragic spring mishap or collision with Ringgold. He was quick into the hole and 8 yards down field when the collision occurred. He's much quicker than people think.

Right now Chaz Truesdale is at UNC Chapel Hill getting accustom for the work to be a Dr. Chaz is under a program where they paid him to go. He has a 3.5 grade point average at A&T , his major's are chemistry and biology. this Thursday he will get two A's and two B's from this program, which is a honor for him and A&T Chaz is up to 215lbs and has been lifting weights and running with the players from Chapel Hills , for most of you don't know Chaz is one of the strongest on the team, only he and OL reach 700lbs in the squat so hes in shape. you have to ask Fobbs why he did not play that much.

You might be right. Maybe he was just tip toeing because our line sucked last year and that's why I'm not impresssed. Nice to here he has a good work ethic though.

It's really hard to judge any of our running backs the last couple of years because the offensive line has been so pourous they've been getting hit almost as soon as they get the hand off. I would like to see kids like Truesdale rewarded for bringing honor to the program.

Now I love Truesdale's work ethic as much as the next guy. The way he carries himself is what we need to see more of on and off the field from this team. But I think his athletic ability is getting way too overhyped here. We all have differing opinions about Fobbs and his coaching staff but if this guy was this good then there's no doubt the coaches would get him on the field. That being said, I saw Fergie the other day running with the team and he looks to be in great shape. He should be pushed by Chancellor and Robinson and it should be fun to watch the competition in camp for that number 1 TB spot.

What hurts Truesdale is that he's not very shifty. He is the prototypical straight line runner. I think people here are confusing "fast' with "quick." Truesdale probably is very fast onces he builds a head full of steam, but he's not very quick moving laterally and doesn't make a lot of people miss.
To me, his running style is similar to Herscel Walker.
