The DE the sexaul predator I forgot his name, He was decent. Hollingsworth transfered from clemson and was good his first year decent his second and never finished. Those are the two I can tink of off the top of my head.
Don't we have a ruld now that if you can't return to your own school, you can't come to here either.

If RB Chancellor is any indication of how well these D1-A kids will pan out we should be in good shape. In spring game I was impress with most of Fobbs D-1A transfers including Brandon Croley.
You right we have not had a lot success when you think about it. The last time I remember a player that had a winning impact was the TE from East Carolina that Hayes recruited.
Aggie One help me out with the name.

There have been a lot of Division 1 (BCS) transfers in the MEAC the last 20 years. You can probably say 10 percent of them have done very well, 50 percent have started or were regular contributors and 40 percent performed below average or never panned out for multiple of reasons.
If you talked to some of these transfers they will tell you that competing in the MEAC was a lot tougher than they expected because the players are more talented than they thought. Some transfers may state that below-par coaching from the staff in the MEAC has hurt them also.
I remember when A&T had two high school all-americans who transfered to Aggieland. Neither one fulfilled the coaches' or fans' expectation.

I think Bryson was the only one that really panned out well and he snuck under the radar. He was a parade honorable mention.
Off the top of my head I can think of:
The jacker He had no impact other than getting us on the front page of the N&R.
Brian Johnson, the fullback from Ga Tech Eventually made into a tight end so we could ignore the fact he was on the team better.
That qb from california that was a juco something or other. Hayes last year. He was ok and never seen from again.
Walter Stith, the o-lineman He did well for the one year he was eligible.
Dominique Williams from UNC The parade all-american that didn't pan out at all. We never found a place for him on the field
Keith Matkins Nuff said
Steve Shipp At least he's a good coach now
Adrian Parks from Florida number three on depth chart at qb most of his time at A&T
Hollingsworth was good as long as he was backing up Mo Hicks
The kicker from Charlotte we signed last year. I don't say this often, but I told you so.
Davalos At least he won one game for us.
Carl Warren The kicker in '93 that lost the Howard game and never came back
Jamal Jones Somehow is sticking in the pros but dropped most everything in Greensboro.
Doug Brown Oh what we did to a promising career...
Marshall Glenn See Doug Brown, above.
The whole offensive line class of two or three years ago ugh
Major name guys honestly just don't pan out at A&T on the field. I mean we had four or five parade all-americans on the team at the same time and they went 8-3. That's why I've learned not to buy the hype until I've seen an actual in-game demonstration.
Meanwhile,
Deloatch was a walk-on Who ever heard of Herb Dixon until after his redshirt year? Hicks was an afterthought Connell Maynor was a d-2 player James White was too slow and too short Darryl Klugh was just somebody to add depth Yonnick Matthews was a punter (who knew he could nail 50 yard field goals?)
I'll take the no-names. Y'all can have the stars.

The greatest disappointment of all time was that JUCO kid from New Jersey who had 4 stars on rivals.com.
I think his name was Alan Jones or something.

You guys sure had everyone believing they were student athletes when they arrived here. If that was the case, you should have put an asterik by their names in the media guide.

Both these guys played at Tech...Some people on this board sure dont know what they're talking about...EVER..Ceaser was mostly a special teams guy at Tech and Larrymoore was the scout team QB as a freshman in 02' prior to coming to T. They were in they were in that 02' class with Marcus Vick... www.hokiesports.com/football/players/2002/ceasar.htmlON a side note..I recently saw the NCAA report on black college graduation rates. How are we faring in that regard with respect to football? I hope these guys are making the most of their 4-5-6 years here and graduating and finding jobs....
