TCU has a open date on 9/17/2011 and they will travel They are not coming to Greensboro...but I would certainly be in favor of going to Fort Worth and taking their money (if it's over $425,000 without the band or $500,000 with the band). We don't have the APR to play FBS schools. There is a number that we have to have for the game to count towards the FBS schools bowl win count.

Well they better hurry up and sign that CIAA team because each day it seems like each team in the CIAA is posting their football schedule

in a sense, i think the professor is still correct. if i'm not mistaken, he's saying we don't have the apr to play fbs schools. i take that to mean, because of our apr, we're unable to award the full allotment of scholarships that's needed to play an fbs school...

The fact that we are below the APR cut-off score and in the penalty phase is the reason why we aren't able to give the requisite number of scholarships needed to play a 1-A at this time. It comes to either 90 or 95 % of the NCAA maximum. What I was saying is that the ability to play a 1-A is dependant upon giving out an average number of scholarships over a period of time. Even before APR became a factor, we didn't give out enough scholarships to qualify.

So...were we in compliance when we played Wake Forest a few seasons ago, or was this NCAA rule not in-effect at that time?
