Before yall go pointing the finger you guys do realize we have an extremely young defensive line missing Young and Stanfield, two of which were supposed to start this season. Give them time these guys are the future of the program.

How long do you think it will take for our D-line to become decent again?

After taking some very sound advice and going thru some of the old threads and reviewing 42 of my posts, I would like to extend an apology to anyone who felt like I was venting or calling out anyone personally(ol school, thrilla, dooms, krazykev, treese, truthseeker, aggie baby) never meant to imply that we have some sort of fued or that I'm mad at anyone or about anything thats said or posted on this board and I was venting about it. I was just trying to make a light hearted statement about how fun it was to observe opinions between the new members and the more veteran members of this board. nothing more, nothing less. Once again, if anyone was offended by my ill fated attempt at humor, Please accept my apology. No offense was taken. I figured(and actually said) you were probably just venting. Aggie4011, I doubt Young will be back, even if he becomes eligible. The whole situation pissed him off. i hope he does come back, but dont think he will.

some GOOD points mentioned above,AND I think that those of U that exercise RATIONAL REASONING have realized that a lack of $$$$ is not the reason for this DISMAL season...lack of $$$ had NOTHING to do with the clock MISmanagement that lost!!! the WSSU game;lack of $$$$ had NOTHING to do with the HORRIBLE "coaching" decision to leave Mayhew in BCookman game;lack of $$$ has NOTHING to do with the TEAM lack/discipline that leads to WAYYY TOOO MANY personal fouls!!!lack of $$$$ had NOTHING to do with NOT having solid STUDY HALL/ACADEMIC MONITORING in place last year that would have REDUCED academic team losses THIS year; lack of $$$ didn"t keep Don Corbett from WINNINGGG, nor did it keep Bill Hayes from WINNINGG. The unfortunate thing is...this coaching staff is NOT GETTING IT DONE, and we can't afford $$$wise to RIGHT the SHIP until contracts run out;our ex-AD made his choice...it "just happened" not to be one as SOUND/WELL THOUGHT THROUGH as the one the BCookman folks made.

I think you are taking about Eric Young who is at Oak Ridge. Brandon Young was the lineman who was ruled ineligible alongside Stanfield.

Very well stated, noexcuses. I get so sick and tired of people blaming our failures on money (or the lack thereo). If money was the solution to everything, many of us would be still slaves or riding in the back of the bus. Success comes from effort, structure, preparation, discipline, and execution. You can put all the money you want in this or any program and if you don't have those items you are going to fail. During the game this Saturday see if you see the lack of disciplines (silly penalties), lack of preparation (players out of positions), lack of execution (dropped balls), and lack of effort (arm/poor tackling), etc. These are the things that will cause us to lose, not money!!!

while i agree $$$$ as you put it have nothing to do with MISmanagement of the game clock and missed tackles, etc..... Money does hurt your study hall monitoring when you don't have the funds to hire enough monitors. Only having one academic monitor for football is absurd. $$$ would keep bill hayes and corbett from winning in today's meac. When everyone has training tables and such. It also hurts you when you talking about hiring adequate coaches. Some of you think that we have some of the highest paid coaches in the conference....think again. We are more in the middle of the conference.
