My son is on the freshman team for Wakeland HS in Frisco, Tx. They are a Texas 4A HS school. Last week they scrimmaged a 5A School (Denton Guyer) who is ranked in the top 5 in Texas.
Our freshman did very well. but you would not believe the size of the kids on the 5A Varisty team. They had at least 20 kids that were in the range of 6'3 to 6"7 and between 200 and 250. What was amazing was that there were know fat kids on the line all the ol was 6'2 - 6'5 and 240 to 250. They had 15 kids that have already signed D1 letter of intents.
The 5A Texas schools are huge they usually graduated over a 1000 kids. So many kids that 11th and 12th are seperated in one school. I am glad our district decided to have 6 hs and remain 4A, that way you have alot of kids in athletics and not just sitting around posting on my space night and day.

Well it looks like the good times are over for Charlotte Independence. They are 0-1 now that Knotts is gone. hey, decks. where did knotts go? is he still coaching? i was watching a local maryland high school football game against an ohio team on espn, and noticed that butler high school was ranked "nationally" in the top 10. did knotts go there?

I've seen both of Dudley's home games and they look good especially on defense. The main concern I have with Dudley's team is Coach Davis has not developed a sound kicking game. This year they have scored three TD and no extra points.... He goes for the two points .This has been the practice for over two years or longer. Last year Dudley was eliminated in the playoffs because they could not kick a very short field goal to win the game with just seconds on the clock.

Fortunately, Dudley won't have to worry about PATS and field goals when they play Page. You have to cross the 50 yard line first before you worry about that kind of stuff.

No one has scored (TD) on Dudley yet. What makes you think Page will do better than the last two teams Dudley has played?

Thrilla...don't mean to piss on your parade, but Hillside will stomp a mud-hole in Page. Page played on the of the worse teams in the PAC-6 (Hillside's conference) and won 28-18. Meanwhile, Hillside was done in Fayetteville breaking its royal foot off in South View's azz. 3rd quarter score was 46-0....final 53-13. Hope and pray that Page doesn't see Hillside.

Dudley plays Hillside soon, that should be real good. This Metro 4a conference here in Greensboro will be really interesting this year. Dudley won last night as well as Ben L Smith and Page.

Hey Thrilla, can you spell R-A-G-S-D-A-L-E? If you can't, I'm pretty sure Page can this morning.

Hey Thrilla, can you spell R-A-G-S-D-A-L-E? If you can't, I'm pretty sure Page can this morning. I was at that game, which Ragsdale fans are already calling the Miracle on Cone Boulevard. Page dominated up until the last 6 minutes and then they fell asleep at the well. Ragsdale recovered an onside kick and made a 36 yard field goal as time expired. It was the craziest high school game I have been to in years. Famous Ragsdale alumnus Doug Brown was even on hand to sing the national anthem.
