Ray is a good talker but from what I hear a "back stabber". Oliver is waste as a recruiter and coach, DB's sucked this yr. Odoms is from NC and is a good recruiter and would probably have stayed on as a position coach if asked. My main worry is ........ If you do not name a HC soon you are dooming next year to another dismal time. Now is when recruitng and committng is necessary and waiting just allows players to go elsewhere.

Getting it right is more important. Heck, some teams haven't even concluded their season yet. In fact, I don't even think we should interview anyone who's season is complete.

Decks, you're right about getting it right BUT if you do not start recruiting IMMEDIATLY, you are giving away next year. While you wait for Coach Perfect, everyone else gets better and you stay the same. We need to wake up and realize the A&T job is not the greatest on earth right now. Also, aggielove, I hear he is better at having relations than recruitng and making relations.

I wonder if Ragsdale personally requested to keep Oliver on the staff.
Somebody had to vouch for the guy in order for him to still be here this long.

They're probably trying to hold on to some of the kids they've been recruiting throughout the season, hoping to keep them thinkiing about giving A&T a shot, despite who the coach may be.

I don't disagree with any of what's being said. Main problem, when we're 0-11 next year will you remember 'we came up a liittle short'. Food for thought.

again i read this stuff and wonder where yall get some of this stuff from. i remember reading about coach vincent and his situation whith supposedly sleeping with some one on campus and yet we throw another coach under the bus. i agree, he should have been fired with the rest of the coaches with only rags remaining, but raising speculation, unless you KNOW for certain its true, about what coaches are doing away from the field and jeopardizes them and their families is just wrong. now i will say this in his defense, he has brought in some kids that have performed pretty well. i am a big fan of nick clement and andre thornton, both kids he recruited. as well as some other kids on the team that performed pretty well (herring, quay long, muldrow, anthony moore, brandon jackson) as well as some good props. so maybe that kept him on. now what he did as a coach is questionable. his guys had some good games and struggled in some. but we will see what happens when they bring in the new guy.
