If Marsh was not Coach Brown's first or second choice, that kind of worries me. How do you watch Chris Young produce the worst offensive in the nation and not have a definite backup plan already in the works as soon as the season is over? IF Marsh was indeed the guy he wanted all along, I am not sure why he waited until the end of January to hire him. Also what I dont understand is why would you bring in 3 new QBs without your new offensive coordinator having a chance to evaluate them first. What if Marsh has some QBs in his rolodex that might have been better? There are still some questions that need to be answered here ... We probably didn’t have a definite backup plan because of the perception of the program to those outside of Aggieland. People do talk and they aren’t saying positive things about us at the moment.

All I’ll say is this is a hire to assist & facilitate the university’s transition towards the full landscape of the CAA & to assist in the recruitment of a diverse pool of student-athletes. If this were true then Central would have more of a diverse team as well , you know considering their OC is also Caucasian. Is this where you’re getting at with this ? So I doubt that’s a reason

Luckily, opinions can change with a good season and progress. Also, it’s good that the BOG approved our locker room renovation money. We’re gonna need it.

Some teams have 5-7 on their rosters. Also, based on the GA's post, we're looking for Dual Threat QBs. The new OC can try to get "his" guy(s) in or have to live with what we have for this year.

Texas Southern's QB is now at Alabama State. hbcugameday.com/2024/01/12/andrew-body-commits-to-alabama-state/Andrew Body needed a new home and Alabama State University needed a new quarterback — now they have each other. The former Texas Southern University quarterback tweeted a series of photos and videos with him in Alabama State gear.

Can y'all imagine if we were having to look for another OC, now, after hiring one...especially one like Roehl?
Thrilla, DOOMS and a few others would probably have to be institutionalized.
