Of course, Broadway was seasoned and had a bully pulpit when he got here. Brown has a tight contract (I guess) but can he walk in and make the same demands. Does he even want to? Brown had a clear mandate and a bully pulpit when he first arrived here, but it probably is not as strong now. I think he will do the exact same thing again. I also think that a lot of those players may not be back next season at least not on scholarship. Coach Brown in my opinion is an ethical structure type of individual that believes in academics first athletic second philosophy. Also spring practice is basically for evaluating talent not for implementing starters but evaluating that town that has potential to be started coming to fall camp. For instance, I doubt he will try to suspend half his players this upcoming spring for academics like he did this past year.

Playing SCSU will get 13K in the stands vs playing Rhode Island that will draw 8k fans. Better to play Rhode Island at GHOE to get 21500 in attendance. More money for the school in this scenario. sheeet, play St. Aug 😂 Have a sold-out game, a win, an hbcu, and a band brawl or whatever. The oc can slide them his resume during the game. All bases covered. Signing off on ALL OF THAT!!!!

I agree...also, I know a few former football players that feel that the culture around the football program has changed and is currently eroding. I get the "Stay off the Track" situation in all but, football players get energy when they can look at the sideline and see a Lamar Raynard, Tarik Cohen or a JaMaine Martin cheering them on. I think our leadership needs to revisit the policies that they have put in place that can erode perceived competitive advantage. I can appreciate having leadership always trying to stay proactive but, sometimes you can over-think things as well and this is one of them. We lost Homecoming in 21 under Washington Weren't the former players on the sidelines then? They were on the sidelines and were talking junk to players from Monmouth, smh!!! The former players were on the sidelines performing the same antics as they did on the field.

Some of the Community Brothers suggest that we play an HBCU for Homecoming. Due to a potential Band Match-up and possibly their Fans wanting to enjoy GHOE. What makes our program any different than other programs that use the Canon.

I will always be against a school bringing their band for homecoming. 1. Takes seats away because they will get a dedicated GA section 2. Takes away from the halftime show of our band. This is the only performance many see all year. BGMM Should get majority of time and then the check presentations etc. =============== True. I agree that we need the Gate. But to them, this was the Only game that they wanted to attend, bringing family and friends for the wknd. I think that they are saying that the (-really close game-) was boring. Corporate. The Sideline restriction against former Players, Band Alumni and Cheerleaders kept it Sterile for the Casual Fan. The Game was close, but the Stands got a touch sparce. They, like the Band brawls, and even the Fans like Norfolk milling around. To be fair, I went to Hampton/A&T Homecoming Game and didn't stay inside watching the action either. But I could hear the Bands over the Tailgate DJ's. Actually a Buzz started once The Machine finally strutted in.

My open is this . RB by committee approach. With the RB room that we have . There is no reason that anyone Back should have to carry 22 times especially behind a inconsistent O line . There is no reason that Blizzard, Dixon and the other backs not named Graves should not have been used until these last few games . Blame and nitpick all you want but the offensive unit is looking better . Now they just have to petition all together in a complete game.
