If saabman doesn't want to be referred to as dude on this site, I think it is a fair request. Obviously it bothers him whenever somebody calls him that.
Let's just honor that request and keep it moving.

Dude, I've been showing up for 40+ years at Aggie Stadium. My parents took me to the 1st game at Aggie Stadium when we christened it by playing WSSU (no lights then; it wasn't even in a complete horseshoe configuration; no track either). I'm a devoted Aggie alumnus and supporter......and with all of that being said, I have a right to question what the hell is the end-game when it comes to Aggie athletics. We can respectfully disagree with the direction of Aggie athletics.....I just don't understand how joining the CAA propels us athletically. Beating a High Point, NCCU, or Elon goes a lot further in this region than beating an Albany, Delaware, or Stony Brook. I am not knocking the CAA.....I just don't see where it truly benefits the plight of Aggie athletics The end game is to become a top FCS program that regularly competes in a conference that is competitive and full of members that properly funds their athletic departments. We can’t sit hit and say the MEAC has been properly ran for 50 years and wasn’t full of presidents that could never get on the same page. And many of these schools just plainly suck in all athletics. Like, complete unadulterated trash. There are other things I can say here but I won’t. This isn’t a private space.

No one said you were not a true fan or question your dedication. You don't have to defend yourself because you know who you are and what you are. Also you can call me Saabman because we have been going back and forth for some time on here in disagreement or agreement. I don't have Dude in my sign on name just Saabman. What's with you and the "dude" thing. It's like "man, dawg, bro, cuz, etc" all that. No one is disrespecting you. You not talking to kids that shouldn't refer to adults in that manner. Most people here are 80s and 90s Aggies. Like you said "You not talking to kids that shouldn't refer to adults in that manner. Most people here are 80s and 90s Aggies" "Adults" I'm a 60s 70s Aiggie . The word "dude" is an informal word. When you are fascinated, surprised, angry or frustrated with another individual, you would most likely use informal words..i.e Dude,Buddy, Bro,Bhru instead of there given names that you know them by . I'm more of a Formal person . If I know your name I use your name and I ask to be addressed in the same manner.

I was never really clear why we moved to the Big South or the CAA. The decision has been made and I doubt we change anytime soon. In time I guess I will look forward to playing Bill and Mary, Villanova, and Delaware. Let me check to see if there are any big games in the CAA this week.
Maybe Joseph Level can give the CAA scores during the game.

Again we haven't been gone that long , do ya'll not remember how bad some schools were in the MEAC

HBCU alums just like the rest of black society only care about the party! See the CIAA basketball tournament in Charlotte, more people partying than attending the games…streets were filled but the games were empty.

My niece is a freshman at LSU. She says the party atmosphere is even greater at SEC schools. Like every single home game would be the equivalent of most HBCU homecomings.
I think the majority of most school's alumni base only have a causal interest towards sports in general. Especially the female students. We see the diehard football fans on TV, but most people at an SEC gameday dont even come into the stadium. They watch the action on TV from the tailgate area.
People typically turn out for big events because they just want to be around other people who they have things in common with.

I think its been well established that Aggie2039 does not have a particularly fond opinion of the current state of the black community or HBCU culture for that matter.
