The blue jerseys are still in rotation, for those that were wondering.

Like I said "Uniform are way down the list" . well schools, including a&t, spend an awful lot of "money" on new uniforms that they "DO NOT NEED" as far as outfitting a football team. so it can't be too far down the list given that the overwhelming majority of college programs purchase "extra" uniforms that they "DO NOT NEED" in order to compete. so i guess those schools are throwing "millions" of dollar away for something that's so called "way down the list". shoot, if that's the case, we've got plenty of other expenses that we could spend that money on. i mean, you do realize that it costs anywhere from $100k or more to purchase one set of uniforms for approximately 100 football players, correct? that's an awful lot of money to pay for uniforms that they "DO NOT NEED"... Most if not all schools/coaches spend a lot of money on uniforms to look good on the field or TV. That will not stop because they know the marketing value it brings in attracting athletes, alumni, and fans. The problem arises when one goes overboard with the uniform combinations and expenses thinking that it is a "major" factor in recruiting. I repeat that it is not for serious athletes, but a minor factor. You all keep mentioning Alabama, Penn State, Clemson and others like they don't experiment with different uniform combinations. They do because they also know what things influence a player's decision. It is all about what is most important to you.

Uniforms are like shoes or your favorite suits. I have dress loafers but my main pair for dressed events are my Stacy Adams boots lace up..i.e Old Folks Comforts. As my wife says to me when we go to a social event " all of my friends know you by your shoes and those Stacy Adams are you" 😆🤣 . I think some on here are confusing alternative Looks with Brand Staple, The A&T Lock is a brand staple the Color Dark Blue and Gold is a brand staple and those things should never be trifle with . Also also alternative is a now and then and should only be used as another possibility not as the defining factor of your institutional program.

Did they give 38 the wrong jersey by accident? I hope so I never want to see that color combination again. Snap why don't they wear them one more time and then sale them off like UAB is doing after our game with them . Or just use them as practice jerseys.

Alternative or throwback uniforms are a different discussion as Saabman mentioned.

Regardless of what uniforms we choose I want to see discipline extended in this area as well. Everyone looking neat and tight with shirts tucked, same color socks and shoes, etc.

Everyone looking neat and tight with shirts tucked, same color socks and shoes, etc. I expect you're gonna be sad/upset/disgusted/etc! Man I hope not ! Having tucked shirts, wearing the same color socks and shoes should be a given. I put that type of thing on the coaches. It's about discipline, and being uniform...looking like one unit. Hell, even may daughters middle school basketball team coaches force this issue. They tell them what color and type of T-shirts they are supposed to wear under the school supplied uniforms. Their jerseys are to be tucked, and socks are to "plain" as to not stand out from the rest of the team. They don't supply the kids shoes, but discourage styles or colors that say "look at me" instead of "I'm on this team". They prefer white, black...or school colors combinations. We got to get these kids focused on what's most important. They will win and lose together. I know in this time of the transfer portal...and looking out for self those aren't popular ideas, but teams at this level that win are the teams that understand those concepts. I don't want a team full of players getting run over and out played...but "look good".
