Keyes is long gone and now Bell is also gone. Is this the end of "Jump Ball U" since no one has demonstrated the ability to do the jump balls (and back shoulders) like those 2 did?

leslie is now our "featured" receiver, he's capable of winning jump balls. but i thought we'd also signed his little brother, maybe he'll also become a featured receiver in the future...

I hope it dies and never returns…we need to mature our offense. Jump ball U can not be our only pass play near the red zone.

Hopefully he's bringing tutelage that can diversify our route tree usage. ncataggies.com/staff-directory/nate-poole/139

We’re going to be “Slant & Post U” if things go well for the passing game. IIRC, Fowler was able to dish the ball to his receivers with ease over the middle and in the seam against Norfolk State. And those hitch and dig routes against FAMU were also clutch.

I don’t know how he would do in positioning for a jump ball, but Q Lockhart does a good job of fighting for the ball and winning.

I agree because it did not mature our WRs and prepare them for the next level. Cant deny that it worked though, so I'm torn about it going away if no one turns out to be that guy. I think our #2 guy should be that guy. We should be grooming our #1 WR to get pro looks from scouts.

A lot of 6’1 corners in our new league 6'1 didn't matter, Keyes and Bell bodied those guys. They were strong as hell. Bell bodied out of conference guys also. Only team he couldn't do it to was Duke. The Big South is slight better in football but not that much better. These last few FAMU squads could hold their own in the Big South.

Bell best games were against subpar competition, BS top teams are a lot better
