Hey I know we ain't the Game coX but UNC sucks at stopping the option play. I hope we can pass on these guys but Qick and Cowen could be big in Chapel Hill. They have also struggled with the swing pass to the running backs. Of course their offense looks scary good at times.

UNC's brotha QB is some-timey. He has all the physical skills, but his passing leaves a little to be desired. That Bug Howard (#84) is virtually unstoppable, but he has a difficult time throwing an accurate ball to him. From what I've seen thus far, I think UNC is actually the better team.....

Actually, the Gamecocks look AWFUL!!! If we don't make half of the mistakes that they are making, we'll still be in-the-game in the 3rd quarter in Chapel Hill.

UNC's QB is getting worse as the game progresses.....if I was USC, I wouldn't pass the ball again.... UNC had a chance....but SEC-style football is taking over.

Elijah Hood is balling! Sent from my SM-G920V Carolina is giving this game away! instead of feeding Hood the ball they revert back to passing after a good gain . they're trying to go for the long ball instead of using all their weapons like South Carolina is doing. Also NCU's right side could be the focal point when we play them. that right side is extremely weak.

A&T can run on NCU! Now if the running backs and quarterback can take the beating that question is up in the air!

They run a traditonal def. However I am willing to bet they blitz us from play one. They will load the box and run blitz and pass blitz putting the pressure on the qb.

I agree that UNC will bull rush and blitz on every play.if we can get the ball outside to our backs we will be okay. Forget about running between the tackles. I also expect them to just run over us up front. I just hope we don't get pimped slapped like Alcorn is now. Boy that's ugly.

Against a Blitz package the TE is always the best option if you have one that can get off the line quick. it takes too much time to swing the back out, also a jet sweep is good against a blitz package. As Broadway said we are too predictable using the TE opens up more options and holds the linebackers thereby opening up plays for the running backs to exploit creases in the defense. if we are not Bold enough to use all of our weapons we are certain to get big azz beat down. but we have to be willing to take a chance and do the opposite/ unexpected then what the defense thinks we're going to do. if you look at all of our game films from last year you will see that the TE is mainly a blocker now if the tight end blocks and slow release to the open part of the field or quick releases off the line that is something they will not be expecting. You have to understand that if they load up and blitz that leaves the receivers one on one with the speed we have we have a 50-50 chance. now throw the TE into the equation after the receiver has around the corners off, that leaves a lot of space to work in ! I don't think they have a linebacker that can stay with a good tight end 1 on 1.

Hood is going to be a problem, but I was not impressed with the Tar Heels at all. I hope that UNC has that, "All we have to do is show up and it's a win" attitude on next Saturday against us.
Also, here is the upset of the night:
Florida International - 15 Central Florida - 14 Final
HEY...IT CAN HAPPEN!

Saabman,
I agree 100% in regards to the TE; but that then puts the pressure on our QB to throw that quick inside slant to the TE. If we can make that pass a few times it will go for big yards and they will move back to their traditional 4-3 def.

We better keep things as simple as possible and just try to slow the game down.

Coaching loses the game for UNC...PERIOD. You got Hood killing their defense and each time he gets you in the redzone, you turn the ball over trying to be cute. Reminded me of us last year on 11/22/2014 in Durham.
