At the end of the day the attendance is going to be big weather they sell out or not. Thats all that matters.

It might be a decent turnout. Their fans will show up because it's their first game and to see our band.

Remember folks, most ACC games at Kenan aren't sell outs!

UNC will play the South Carolina Gamecocks Thursday in Charlotte the week before our game. Hopefully, the Gamecocks will soften them up for us. If UNC beats USC, it will definitely be a sell out for their 1st home game. If UNC looses, then a lot of the fair weather fans will not be excited about the A&T game. UNC allocated 2,350 tickets to A&T for reserved seats in sections 100, 101, 102, 200, 201. According to the A&T ticket office, we are currently selling reserve seats for the game at $42 each. UNC has group tickets available now in section 110 only. The cost per ticket for groups of 10-24 is $15 and the cost for groups of more than 25 is $10. All other UNC tickets will gone on sell June 27th. $10 vs $42??? If anybody hears anything different, please let us know! Also, UNC has a forty year tradition of being the only band to perform at half time, so don't expect to see the Blue and Gold at half time. Most likely a post game performance and plenty of opportunities to perform before the game. Side note, I heard that NCCU will be playing Duke on the same day.

The A&T vs UNC game will be the UNC Black student's Homecoming. My son is a UNC grad and all his friends are really jacked about seeing the A&T band and the atmosphere at this game. Most of his friends have family that went to an HBCU and they know it's going to be a party atmosphere. I don't expect anything near a sellout but I expect plenty of AGGIES in the house.

This game has the potential to be big for A&T, the Football Program and the UNC System as well. With all of the alumni in the Raleigh-Durham and Chapel Hill area, Greensboro and surrounding area we should easily anticipate 45,000+ fans at this game. 45, 000 fans in a City with a population of 50,000, gameday is a big event. The UNC Black student's Homecoming is a plus! We should seriously consider buying tickets as early as possible. Blue and Gold on Franklin Street sure would look nice.

Probably best to get tickets from the A&T ticket office if you want to sit with the Aggies.

I have access to two seat in the box on the home side and two seats on the 50 yard line on the visitor's side. Despite the fact my wife wants to sit in the comfortable box, I plan to sit on the visitor's side with my peoples and my cowbell! I think the Aggie section on the visitors side will be rocking!

I was not trying to do anything big. There is a ride a bus parking lot that will take you to the stadium. I figure we could get about 10+ people have some grills chicken burgers and whatever eat break bread put our grill table chairs back in the car. Catch the bus to the stadium. Its done

Just purchased a block of 25 tickets in reserve section 110 at $10 each. Only about 100 tickets are left in this section. Regular gameday tickets go on sale tomorrow. Aggiepride, according to UNC ticket office A&T's band will be in section 200 (that's upper level). Remember A&T has reserved seating tickets available in section 100, 102, 200, 201 at $42 per ticket. The Tarheel Express buses will transport fans from the Park and Ride lots for $5 round trip. Parking will be avaibable at several on campus lots at a cost of around $10-$20 and you must get there early to get a parking space. Park and ride is the best option. Ibleedblue I'm working on tailgate details and pregame get together and yes your help is appreciated and needed. Will post more information and contact info soon. Still a lot of buzz around town about this game.

dang! i might not make the unc game after all. it just dawned on me that we play shaw during labor day weekend just 1 week before we play the unc game. i try not to make “back-to-back” weekend trips to greensboro because that 5 hour drive for me can take a big toll if done 2 weeks in a row, especially if i run into that “very congested” dc traffic.
i think i’ll just enjoy going to the shaw game and watch the unc game over the internet or on tv if it is broadcasted. however, i will be making “back-to-back” weekend trips to hampton and norfolk when we play them because the tidewater area is only a 3 hour drive from my house. that’s almost only half the time it takes me to drive to greensboro, so i can cope with that much easier.
just looking at our schedule, i’ll probably make 3 out of our 5 home games (shaw, ghoe, nccu). probably won’t go to the bcu or dsu games because they’re back-to-back home games with ghoe and nccu, respectively. man, i’m literally “starving” for that nccu game!! can’t get here soon enough! payback is a mutha!!
