(I hear more 'BS' about why A&T's hires are not announced than Eddie Murphy trying to explain why he picked up that transvestite at 2 o'clock in the morning.)

I don't know any of those names, but I bet a press release was done. . The goal here is not to preach to the choir, the goal is to extend our reach. This is a good news story and should be presented as such. Do you think Grambling became household name solely on football wins? If our perception is that this action is unnecessary, then our reality is we are not even smalltime. Go to the Aggie Info Page and look at the weekly press releases. Is this not at least as important? Press Releases fac.ncat.edu/pr-test/hotnews/So I guess if they would have put it in the e-mail newsletter that they send out that would have satisfied the masses here? The point I was trying to make is that is this front page news? I dont think so. He's the OC not the Head Coach. Yeah I wanted to know who the new OC was, but I'm also not nieve enough to think anyone else outside this board needs or wants that info as soon at it happens. My whole crew of 5 graduated from A&T and I'm the only one that gives a damn about Aggie football pass if we won Homecoming, beat Central, or beat WSSU. They could have put it in the press release that came about a week ago, but was he official then? Most people dont even know how press releases work. Normally the people releasing the press release decide what's going on it, not a coach. So maybe someone there doesn't give a damn about checking with football to see if anything major has went down. I'm sure the team and Wheeler knew, so when they officiallyh release it doesn't really matter much.

I guess my rant in this thread was premature. I received and PM some time ago (but couldn’t find this thread) basically telling me to sit down and shut-up, and at the very least I should be patient.
So it turns out many of you were correct. There were unresolved bureaucratic issues at the time. It turns out the University employment bureaucracy has a procedure to follow, a good thing, but it may take some time before Coach McKenize (is that the correct spelling) is an official employee. So in and effort to stabilize and benefit the program by not waiting, in the interim he is working as a temporary employee.
So expect a continuation of the rant once I find out Coach McKenize is a permanent member of the Aggie Coaching staff without a formal notification. At a minimum there should a welcome article on NCATAGGIES.com.
