other than the ccu loss, we’re sitting exactly where i wanted us to be at this point in our schedule. that elon game was “critical” in my opinion because assuming we beat chowan, we should head into our meac schedule with some momentum and a nice 3-1 record to build from. hopefully we will not suffer any serious injuries against chowan so that we can “bumb rush” howard’s greene stadium the following week full steam ahead!
but i don’t wanna look pass chowan even though i fully expect us to win that game handily. let’s get pass chowan first, get some backups into the game and then we’ll concentrate on howard...

I thought the Aggies looked alot more crisp on offense and defense in the Elon game as compared to the CCU game. I hope they won't loose their edge playing down to an inferior opponent like Chowan

Unfortunately, Decks is right. He says UNC, TENN, do it. Why can't we?

It's one thing for the fans to be overconfident but hopefully the team isn't. Overlook no one or no team. Chowan is still a scholarship giving squad that beat Fayetteville State by intercepting the QB 4 times. Sure Alderson passed all over them but we have yet to demonstrate a consistent passing attack. Ok, I think we should win big and easily but I'm just saying that the team needs to stay focused and get a big lead early. If were only up by 2 tds at the half, the backups won’t see as much playing time. The coaches have a tough job this week because overconfidence precedes carelessness. And looking down-the-road at Howard (and SC State) is another reason that this could become a "trap game." The more-and-more that I think about this game, the more-and-more I become worried about it. GIFSoupdon't worry, ar. if we come out "flat", you know coach broadway will be steamed and kick some "aggie azz" in that locker room at halftime! to me, if we stink the joint up at all, it won't go any further than the first half cuz lawd knows there will be some "fireworks" going on in our locker room at half time. if we stink up the joint for the entire game, i'd hate to see what coach broadway's next practice would look like. all i can say is, lawd have mercy our guys' souls! it won't be pretty...

the only thing i don’t like about playing a cream puff 4 games into the season is that guys just might lose “focus”, whereas if it was at the beginning of the season, opening day excitement would be enough to get the guys’ adrenalin flowing. we could possibly come out “flat” against this team. but i have confidence that coach broadway won’t let that happen for very long...

Please let us refrain from considering this a trap game. Chowan just lost to a team by the name of Alderson Broaddus 47-7 last week. That is a team that just started DII football last year.

A&T is free to schedule creampuffs......but if only 6,000-7,000 people are at the game this weekend, don't blame the Aggie faithful for being knowledgable about the teams we play. I have no problem travelling 200+ miles to see us play legitimate competition vs travelling 20 miles to see us play creampuffs. I have a feeling I'm not the only one who shares this sentiment...... This is the type of game when you need a great sports marketing department. Chowan's fans (all 15 of them) will not show up and neither will the casual Aggie fan. So the stands will be empty. That's when your sports marketing department runs a BOGO ticket promotion or some other promotion to just get some folks in the stands. How about letting anyone with a ticket stub from a high schools game in on game day for $5.00. Don't make much money (more than not selling a ticket) but you great buzz and get some high school fans exposed to Aggie football.

LOL I agree numberonebrave, the only thing I'm worried about in this game is number 28 getting hurt. Haven't you guys seen wtat we do to "fish sandwiches" that come to Aggie stadium? What "fish sandwich" over the past two or three years has played us tight? No this game is our chance to improve our timing on offense, let some injuries heal and let our starters get some rest. The A&T Marching Band will work harder than the football team this Saturday.

I think every school in the ACC plays a FCS school except Syracuse. Hampton will try and get a win for Maynor with a D-2 school this weekend. I think the Aggies deserve a seemingly easy game. That seems to be the trend throughout college football
