win or lose, some folk are gonna complain regardless... I think I speak for all when I say we are all happy A&T won the game yesterday. To do something (beat FAMU in Tallahassee) we haven't done since the year 2000 is a good thing. I agree with running Cohen as much as possible......but that little dude is going to need both hips and knees replaced during the offseason. It is unfair to ask this dude to be MR EVERYTHING on offense. When our 5th-year QB cannot amass 20 yards of passing for an ENTIRE GAME, this is as bad as it gets. Just look at what we have been exposed to over the past few weeks..... Being held scoreless for 58 minutes at home vs Del State. 9 total first downs vs 11 punts vs Del State. Only 200 yards of total offense vs Del State. Our QB didn't even pass for 20 yards vs FAMU. Our QB threw another pick-6 to the oppostion. Our defense damn near having to play perfect games to keep games close. I know it seems we (and by we, if you want to refer to ME personally, I can take it) seem to complain a lot......but these offensive stats we've had over the past weeks have been soooooooooooo bad, they are just impossible to ignore. We all know FAMU is a bad football team......for our QB to go 4 of 13 for 18 yards and 1 INT (returned for a TD) is "complaint worthy." I really have a hard time accepting how bad we are offensively. I have a hard time believing these are the types of offensvie stats all Aggies are supposed to accept without questioning what the hell this staff and players are doing offensively. This post isn't meant to generate an argument or an "I'm right and you're wrong" response. I'm just becoming very concerned that we are becoming way too accepting and forgiving of these God-awful numbers on a weekly basis. We are a D-/F on offense.....I just have a hard time believing we cannot get better results than this on a weekly basis. I refuse to accept that this is the best our offense can do, even with the personnel we have.....

OSA, I actually agree with you. Kindle had nothing to do with FAMU marching 97 yards. I'm just getting tired of him and the offense always forcing the defense to pitch "no hitters" every game. The defense held FAMU scoreless for 59+ minutes. It was Kindle who once again donated 6 points for the Rattler cause. There has been entirely too much stress being placed on our defense to make up for all of the offensive deficiencies on display every week.
The "look dude, it appears you don't understand that football is a 'team sport'" comment was unnecessary.....You gotta work on stop being condescending when condescension is unwarranted. When you have a discussion with me, just state your points.....you lose credibility with me (and others) when you throw in derogatory comments that enhance nothing with what you're trying to state. In fact, they take away from what you're trying to convey on this and other discussions......

I agree with NSS. We may soon see a loading up in the box against us....if not already. We need to pass the ball Brothers.
I heard some of the game on the radio.
Im glad that we found a way to win in spite of it. Its incredible. What a good win!

Do you think Kindle's performance was ok? Does he not warrant some criticism for not moving the ball with the passing game? yes he (kindle) does warrant criticism, but so does everybody else on the team. i can think of several aspects of the game not involving kindle that was subpar. its easy to isolate the pick 6. but how do you explain a 97 yard drive from famu's 3 when the game was on the line? should've never went to overtime, but i guess that was kindle's fault. or, no one remembers the drops by wr's, just the incompletion by kindle. obviously, kindle did not have a good game against famu. but we won the game and that's what matters the most. i just think critics should be equal opportunity critics...

Read what I said OSA.......I said I ACTUALLY AGREED WITH YOU when it came to the 97-yard drive we gave up. That cannot be blamed on Kindle.....
However, that 97-yard drive was kept alive by a funky pass interference call that I don't think anyone has said was a correct call. In fact, a news article said Broadway was absolutely livid with that call because it was so bad. Even though our own commentators can be "Aggie Homers" they were quick to highlight this same questionable penalty and how it is things like that which make Bragg Stadium the toughest place to play in the MEAC.
But once again, what we are asking the defense to do week in and week out to keep us in each and every game has become unconscionable. These dudes are literally being asked to hold teams to ZERO POINTS every week for us. That ain't cool or remotely fair to me. Football is a team game - other parts of this team have gotta step up. This is as uneven a team as I've ever seen.
And don't get it twisted - I'm extremely glad we won yesterday. It just doesn't detract from the obvious elephant in the room, which is our paltry offense. We have to find ways to generate points on offense.....

The bottom line is that we need to make a QB change the fact is if your passing QB is 4 of14 and a interception for a touchdown and you running the ball with success and have your possible QB of the future who just happens to be a running QB and don't play him I personally don't know what to say If someone in the room has the answer please pass this information along good win for the player who played hard the whole game and after a defense let down at the end it was only fitting that a interception put the game away now on to homecoming and let hope we have a game to talk about lol

The fact that we dont have anyone to replace Kindle when he is playing like this speaks volumes about the recruiting and player development this coaching staff has done at the quarterback position.

I've had the same stance on Kindle for 3 years and certain people called me a hater. "Now look at cha-self. Look at cha-self!", ROFL

Hey guys we can stop this discussion about our offensive problems...at this point with the talent (or lack of talent) it's not going to change. It took we several games to accept how bad our offense was but now I just expect them to suck. I'm just waiting for next season. Now I will be highly pizzed off if we don't get some talent. If we don't do a better job recruiting players I will be disappointed.

Our coaching staff should have been giving Quick playing time throughout the season. They really killed his confidence by not playing him in any games after he played a real decent game at App State. They wait until we play Del State and put him in on our 2 yard line. He got us out of the hole but you could tell he was not the same player that played at App. His confidence has been shot because of poor coaching decisions.
The reason FAMU was able to drive 97 yards in the closing minutes is because our defense had been on the damn field all day. They were tired as heck.
If the coach does not want to play Quick then he should play the third string QB. He can't be any worse. Again, we ain't gone win no championship this year and Kindle is not going to be here next year. Why keep playing him. Develop someone for next year.

Or the lack of scholarships, spring practice and practice restrictions this coaching staff has had to work with...
