As I said in last night's column, commit to the run, play strong defense and have sound special teams play and we will be alright. Then let's go find a couple of quality read option quarterbacks as soon as the season is over and recruiting starts.

This game was a moral loss. No way a 5th year senior quarterback should be that bad.
And there is no reason Camacho should even have a partial scholarship at this point.

Come on BT, think about all the positives - Kindle threw only one interception today that was returned for 6 points. He completed 4 passes; that means he's averaging one completion per quarter. I thought the way he handed off the ball to Cohen all game was brilliant. He put a good, crisp ball in Cohen's arms all game long. It was clear the coaching staff had him prepared to play.........he's gonna have to play an even better game next week. VUL put up 58 points on Concordia; Kindle's gonna have to sling the ball around Aggie Stadium next week if we hope to have any chance of winning homecoming next week. It's gonna be a nailbiter next weekend.....

The first time we've won in Tally since 2000. I'm going to enjoy the win. Seen too much losing in the past to feel bad about a win...

You can say that again....it doesn't have to be pretty just win dadlammit. Isn't strange that Hampton seems to be playing with swag after beating us a couple of weeks ago ( Hampton-30 Del. State -7)?

ESPN is reporting these stats on Lewis Kindle....... 4 of 13 for 18 yards......1 INT (returned for a TD) Ouch! Wonder what his passer rating was for the game? Sent from my SPH-L900 using proboards

Sent from my SPH-L900 using proboards 27.0 based on the NCAA measure per this site: primecomputing.com/For anyone who actually saw the game, how much of this was bad Kindle and how much was his receivers not helping him out?

our passing game is just not clicking on all cylinders. either the qb makes a bad pass, or the receiver drops a pass, or the protection was inadequate, or all of the above. i don't know for the life of me why we don't shorten our pass routes and throw underneath to our playmakers (lawrence and cohen).
if we throw short passes, the o-line doesn't have to holdup the pass rush as long, its an easier pass for kindle, and we have "playmakers" who can break a short pass into a long gain. just seems to me that we're taking too many 5 and 7 step drop back passes and our protection is not holding up. why not "simplify" the blocking, the target, and the decision making by throwing bubble screens and underneath slants? we can't keep running on every down or else the defense will stack the box...

I applaud the coaching staff for recognizing FAMU s weakness vs running teams. This was a game where we didn't need a lot of passes.

I agree with oleschoolaggie and what we SHOULD be doing with our offense!
