The MEAC HQ officials are just pathetic. The MEAC HQ never answers any questions. The MEAC presidents and chancellors endorsed this sorry administration.

Well...if trash-talking is against the rules then so be it. But, in my world it's a part of the game, we need players that can make the trash talkers to shut the hell up...i.e. The Great Michael Jordan. I remember it like yesterday, 1993 Eastern Conference Finals; John Starks goes baseline DUNKS left-handed on Horace Grant and Michael Jordan. The Knicks take a 2-0 lead on the Bulls headed to Chicago, BUT someone forgot to tell John Starks to be quite with the trash talking...from that point on, Jordan was an animal...needless to say the Bulls won the third consecutive title that year.
Don't get me wrong, I realize we have no Jordan's or Kobe's on the team. But, we need some guys with a competitive instinct. When somebody talks junk on the court, the competitor in you should want to make him/her shut the hell up! I don't mean telling the ref to make him/her stop trash taking either.

I still cannot comprehend how we lost this game, Hill and Powell were snatched out of the game every time we built momentum.. that seemed to be the difference in the first and second halves.. only player NCCU had was Sutton.. it was even quite obvious when we played them back in December smh.

in hindsight, i think a good strategy might have been to try to get sutton in foul trouble and hopefully foul him out of the game. dude tries to block every shot, so attack sutton offensively, give him some head fakes, get him in the air and try to draw contact. defensively, look to draw charges against him every time he drives the lane, with or without the ball.
other than sutton, willis is the only other option they have that can do some damage. but he can't take over a game by himself. if for some reason we draw central in the tournament, it might be a good idea to attack sutton on both ends of the court...

Well...if one player is beating us that's an illustration that we don't play very good team defense. Just like the guy from SSU lit them up last night from the three point line.

Well...if one player is beating us that's an illustration that we don't play very good team defense. Just like the guy from SSU lit them up last night from the three point line. actually, i think we played pretty decent team defense against central that night. but the problem we had was that when our guys left their man to help out against sutton, sutton kicked it out to the open shooter and they knocked it down. i think we did the right thing to double down on sutton and take our chances that they'd miss the lower percentage 3 pointers. but they didn't miss. on any other given night, they might have missed those shots and we win the game. but when you have a dominant inside presence (like coleman was for us last season) it opens up opportunities for your teammates. but if that inside presence is sitting on the bench, it changes the entire complexion of the game...

Blind faith and loyalty with Eaves as coach will get you what you have BEEN getting. Sad but true...its been in his DNA. It won't change. But keep hoping ;D GO AGGIES GO

See I'm just like everybody else on here..... I want us to contend and win. But I'm one of the few to openly admit that it won't happen with Eaves as coach.
Is it so terrible that I wish more Aggies would wake up and accept reality?
Is it so terrible that I would hope that all Aggies that do finally wake up will make their concerns directly to Martin/Eaves so we that we can compete for a championship once we clean house?
Wake Up!!!!!!

aggie2ru : Your not telling anyone on here anything that we don't already no are already said. Martin reads this and knows what must be done. Now if he will do it Who Knows.Trust me Eaves has been covered so much that most do not feel like going over the same stuff again and again. Let the AD and the powers that be do their job at the seasons end and we'll pick this up from their!!!

Let the AD and the powers that be do their job at the seasons end and we'll pick this up from their!!! saab...I appreciate that. My thing is that if people really feel that way.....why don't people contact Martin/Hilton directly and express their feelings if they are truly concerned? People do have a voice and it should be heard. I mean enough is enough. At any school worth its beans...alumni, supporters, fans express their feelings (good or bad) to the top if that is what it takes. Aperson(s) does not have to be a million dollar donor to help make change. Certainly graduates of the school that produced the A&T Four knows that their voices should be heard by those that make decisions if things are not right. That's what I'm talking about. What is truly sad is that only a select few out of many on here have contacted Martin/Hilton about MBB. In my humble opinion it's not enough to just know things ain't right....it's about letting people who make the decisions know we are sick of themadness and it ain't getting no better. Now that's how much I am concerned and care about what's happening and I, needless to say, have spoken outy to those who can make a change. Do people just sit back and say "Aggie Pride" or do they show Aggie Pride by saying, " Martin/Hilton let's turn the page on the tired old mistakes of the past. This ain't working we would like to see a change." Enough people do it....you got clout. If you sit back and wait on it...you might be waiting on while. It don't get no simplier than that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have followed everyone's posts on here and less than ONE handful(4-5) loyal posters on here have said they have spoken to Martin/Hilton. Out of that handful I believe maybe half. Ain't no sweat it's usually the work of a few that the majority benefits from. I'm proud to be working actively as one of the few.
