No clue but i wonder do we have enough demand to sell all of them Me neither. We added reserves on the home side for homecoming and they would sell out. Now I guess. the entire left side where the band used to sit will be reserves during homecoming. The only thing I ask is that they keep the seats on the "visitor side" reserve as well. That's where I sit and those are good seats right on the 50 yard line. ;D

I think the reserved section on the visitors side is too big and needs to be reduced. Very rarely do they fill the section with the exception of Homecoming and maybe NCCU. The demand has diminished for a reserved section that large. If the plan is to use the old band section for reserved seating, then I don't think there is a need for a reserved section on the visitors side at all.
My how things change...I remember when Dee Todd went to the bandroom suggesting the band section be moved and they booed her out of the bandroom...lol. Now look...I think her downfall was suggesting moving the band to the visitors side though. Welp, Ms. Todd, you were close!

I dont know why her a$$ went in there saying "visitor side", lol. I think she even suggested inside the U. I agree that the visitor side reserves should be reduced from 30-30 to about 40-40 if the moves happens. D-2 is isolated enough for just that to be a visitor side reserve. With the old student section now being a reserve we will have more than enough. It also satisfies people who like to sit 50 yard line. They still have that option in D-2. I actually liked that 50 yard line myself. I still dont think the old band spot should be reserve. Just the old student section. If people want to sit down on the end, away from the band, and next to the endzone more power to them.

Man, and speaking of that. You will definitely want to have your back to that U in the 4th quarter now. you dont want to be calling out signals with both bands on the sides and students in the front.

I just hope the new section doesn't limit the playing time for the bands. While technically the same spot just different end, the new section is somewhat closer to the action and I hope the refs don't pick on the band like they have in years past.

They had been getting shhhhushed during game play for years now, so I doubt it will be any different.

IF #TeamMoveTheBand was able to get Mr. Hilton and the Marching Machine to buy the whole moving the band idea to Section S, moving the Visitors should not be an Issue. By the way, If I look at the schedule, the only visiting band(s) making the trip for sure is NCCU and Maybe BCU. I doubt if CCU's nor DSU's band will travel and I doubt if St. Paul's even has a band. Bands will be literally playing across the field .... Trust it will be an issue How many of you guys actually marched in the Machine ? they already are playing across the field from each other, just on the other end

to get back into the stands , they could just build a ramp or some steps right in front their section, and make a opening in the rail

It doesn't matter where they are located if they continue to sit in the stands and don't play music. The visitor bands come in and are lively and play music for their team. We only play sporadically and that is not showing support for the team. Our band needs to come alive at the games and support our team with good loud and related music. We are boring ...

The band is just trying to follow the MEAC rules there are certain times when they can play. If you look at one of the vids on youtube the band was playing and kept getting instructed by the refs to stop or it's a penalty. But I do have to disagree with you saying the band is boring. Again look at the clips of not only home but away games the stands are pretty live. This isn't Drumline they are playing music that's out now and not some flight of the bumblebee or whatever. Think about if our band was boring y is there a clip with over 1 million views on you tube, y are they in the Macys parade, y is the drumline performing overseas in comercials and for thousands and thousands of peeps in Germany. If they were boring I highly doubt they would be doing all the things that they are doing! #AggiePride

Pretty much. Coaches hate when they hear the plays and players have blamed the band for not being able to hear
