Since our athletics department is in shambes, does this mean that any possible Aggies-Rams football game is definitely a no-go for 2011??
Has anybody heard anything about this?? I wouldn't mention it, but it's a potential big-money game for A&T if it is negotiated to be played in Aggie Stadium. But Bill Hayes might have us by-the-balls on this one, too.
Just wondering...

I have always been against playing D-II schools...including WSSU. But if we need a big payday, this game has to be at least considered, don't you think so?

Not worth the payday when we are going to get embarrassed

I thought it was an issue of not being able to resolve the whole Us traveling to Bowman-Gray thing that has brought the game to a standstill???

Not worth the payday when we are going to get embarrassed We risk getting embarrassed by several teams this season. So, why not try to negotiate a decent high gate receipt home game with The Sheep?

They were operating with only 14 scholarships a few seasons ago. I take that back! I forgot that they also messed around and bit SC State in the butt in Orangeburg one season, too. Better try to get Livingstone.

The way the athletic department is operating, no permanent AD, no associate ad's, no certified compliance officers, you will be lucky to see an official 2011 football schedule before Easter.

I am normally in favor of playing this game despite the difference in classification. However, I think we should stick it to Hayes and let him pay for Maynor's salary without a payday from us. We can absorb the loss of revenue from this game better than WSSU. Hayes way overpaid a d-ii coach just to kick sand in our face.

They did overpay. That's a massive salary for DivII. Without A&T or NCCU on the schedule I dont see them making much money this year. They cant even get a money game now since they are Div2.
