Labor Day Weekend is a good turnout no matter who we play...I say we send a giant Middle Finger to Maynor & Hayes and schedule another CIAA Team that weekend...Does Chowan have an opening? (LOL)

Only way we consider playing them, it should be in Aggie Stadium with a minimal guarantee to them. I wouldn't just guarantee a WSSU victory either.

I don't think we should ever be scared to play anyone. You could argue that it could hurt our strength in schedule but other than that both school need the revenue that this game produce. Lets not think we so big and bad that we don't need the stadium to be filled to capacity.
We only rank #6 in our over Athlete Budget compared to all the other MEAC schools.

I don't think that it's a case of thinking we are so big or acting brand new...but more of a matter of Why are we giving WSSU a home and home agreement? I would be okay with doing a NSU-VSU Labor Day Classic Setup, where VSU gets a Certain Percentage when its their year as the "home team" OR we can do a two for one deal where every two years we go to bowman- gray...

There are plenty of other teams to play other than WSSU. Why have our players get whooped again

The WSSU game should ALWAYS be played.
It's one thing to schedule a money game against Wake or UNC and get paid to get pummled, but we leave them off the schedule to play Elon or travel to App. That doesn't make any sense. Financially nor "good for press" speaking.
Isn't losing to Elon or App just as bad for press as losing to WSSU? I know they are div2, but which lose would recruits pay more attention to and who are we now recruiting against.
playing WSSU has been good for us financially and we should respect that.

Sorry - I don't this we'll get embarassed. We should have our QB healthy. We definitely will have a better coaching staff. Folks act as if we got dusted by Winston. They had to score a late TD to beat us ---- WE FINISHED 1-10. If anything, if we play Winston, that may be one of the games we can possibly win. I really hate wasting a week playing DII schools....but A&T vs WSSU just always seems to make sense to me. I sure wouldn't want to go to App St without one game under our belt - even if it is against a DII opponent....

We're going to fill the stadium on the first weekend regardless because of the hype and curiosity surrounding Broadway's debut at A&T, be it WSSU or not on the other side.
