I don't think there will be more than 500 Wake Forest fans at the game tomorrow night. The WF ladies don't draw more than 700 fans in most of their home games except for UNC and NC State. Duke didn't play them at home this year.
A&T can have home court advantage in fan support if the Aggies show up.

AGGIES TRAVEL TO PLAY WAKE FOREST
THE SERIES
The Aggies and the Pirates are meeting for the 11th time on the court. Wake Forest leads the series between the two Piedmont Triad rivals 7-3. Wake Forest won the last meeting between the two teams 92-43 in 2004. It was Mike Petersen’s first season with the Demon Deacons, while Aggies head coach Patricia Cage Bibbs will be coaching against the Demon Deacons for the first time in her career. Wake Forest is the only ACC team the Aggies have ever defeated. N.C. A&T is 3-21 all-time against ACC schools with losses to UNC, Duke, Wake Forest, Miami, Florida State and N.C. State.
THE DEMON DEACONS
Wake Forest is becoming a program to be dealt with in the ACC. The Deacons finished 18-13 overall and 7-7 in the ACC. They are making their second straight WNIT appearance after going 5-9 in the ACC last season. Wake Forest was eliminated in the ACC Tournament’s quarterfinals by Georgia Tech. Secily Ray led the way with 11 points and eight rebounds. Ray is the Deacon’s second-leading scorer and she is the sister of N.C. A&T senior point guard Tyronnica Alford. The Deacons and Aggies have two common opponents on their respective 2009-10 schedules. Wake Forest defeated Coppin State 62-40 in November. Three weeks ago the Deacons defeated N.C. Central 76-63.
THE AGGIES
The Aggies are coming off of a shocking 61-60 loss to S.C. State in the quarterfinals of the MEAC Tournament. The Aggies are in a rare territory. They have lost two out of their last three games. But the Aggies have had a week off to heal their wounds as they will go after their first postseason win in school history. In the last two seasons, the Aggies have defeated in-state schools Charlotte, Elon and East Carolina. If the Aggies win they will face the winner of the Gardner-Webb/Charlotte contest on Sunday. The game will be played at either Gardner-Webb or Charlotte. The Aggies will bring to Winston-Salem a Fayetteville backcourt in Amber Calvin and Ta’Wuana “Tweet” Cook that shoots a combined 39.3 percent from 3-point range.
THE GAME
The teams appear to be pretty even on paper. The Aggies will bring in a veteran squad that has four seniors with postseason appearance. They may be hungry enough to finish their careers with the one thing they have not accomplished – a postseason win. Wake Forest comes into the game with quality wins over then No. 25 Miami, then No. 20 Virginia and NCAA-Tournament bound N.C. State. The Aggies meanwhile are road tested. They played 15 of their first 18 games on the road to start the season. They will not be intimidated by the ACC name after giving Auburn and Iowa State a pretty tough time this season.
LOOK FOR…
…The Aggies to look to Lamona Smalley for an inside presence early. For her entire career, she has been able to play against taller post players. The Aggies have taken 46 3-pointers in their last two games. When you have a Smalley and Jaleesa Sams who can score 15-feet and in, that may be too many.
…Amber Calvin to play like a veteran. The freshman out of Fayetteville showed a lot of leadership qualities during the Aggies upset loss to S.C. State. She just may be the motivator who can get the Aggies to the second round of the WNIT.
…The Aggies bench to come alive. The Aggies bench was almost non-existent last week in the MEAC Tournament. The Aggies got just nine points off the bench in their last outing against S.C. State. If the Aggies can get a lift from players such as JaQuayla Berry, Crystal Murdaugh and Tierra Thomas, the Aggies trip to Winston-Salem could turnout much better this time.

A&T's backcourt play is simply crushing the Deacons 51-32 11:51 left. Our defense is holding them to just 25 percent shooting from the field.
