They jumped on Howard 29-10 to start that game, and 21-4 on Hampton to start. Both teams came back; Howard within 1 point and Hampton tied it. Did they put on the cruise control after jumping out to big leads early? Like "here we go again, another beatdown"? We cant afford to let off the gas like that... i agree 100%, brandmasta. actually, i'm a little relieved that that's what happened because letting up can be corrected. plus, having tweet in foul trouble didn't help either. looks like we demonstrated we could have won that game by double digits, had we not let up. i dunno. i don't wanna jinx our ladies but if coach bibbs can keep them sharp "mentally", then i believe we'll have "a chance" to run the table. but mental things like letting up after going out to a big lead or not bringing our "a" game every night, are our biggest obstacles to running the table. i mean, our remaining schedule is fairly favorable. we don't play famu again, we only play umes at home, most of our conference games are at home, we only play scsu, howard, hampton, coppin, and morgan on the road. not saying those away games are automatic wins, but based on this season's play so far and finally having a healthy productive jee sams onboard, those away games are very winnable. we'll need a little luck, but i wouldn't be surprised if this team does what the last two couldn't do. go undefeated during the regular season, even though this year's team is less experienced and younger...
